@Dave Morrison
Dustin’s strategy is as pointless as any other roulette strategy.
I was just playing for a promotion as the way the promotion worked ensured that even though I would lose money on roulette, I would still profit from the promotion.
came 2nd if I remember correctly - £1000
To ensure my place in the leaderboard I bet 17 numbers with £1 on each - the terms of the promotion were that you needed a min bet per number of £1 and the maximum numbers you could play was 17 numbers.
Played every spin in a 24 hour period.
1 spin per min, 60 per hour
1440 spins per day
£17 per spin x1440
£24480 bet on that table in a 24 hour period.
House edge on roulette is 2.7%
24480x0.027 =
£660.96
the expected losS for playing £17 per spin, every spin, in that table in 24 hours was £660.96
1st place was £1500
2nd place was £1000
I figured there would be a couple other people doing what I did but as I had a lot of experience with this kind of thing I knew I would come first or second.
My expected return was £340 to £840 which I found to be acceptable income for staying up for 24 hours. Plus I enjoy these promotions, calculating and observing such things. At the end of the day, despite the occasional unlucky run, the maths came true.
free money.
This is the only way to win.
No roulette system has any merit, it either :
doesn't work from the start
or
works for a bit and then doesn’t work and you lose all the money you won previously.
Been both sides of the tables for the last 20 years and never seen any kind of working system.
