Reef run by Yggdrasil new or old?

[Ki4Life]

So both Casumo and Leovegas showed Reef Run as a new slot to their collection and initially I thought this was a sort of followup on Golden Fishtank. Turns out that there are videos of this slot from 2-3 years back. If this is the case then it might not be worth playing but does anyone know why this was released just now or is it a rerelease?

I believe it's an old machine that is not available to all casinos, gotta say I'm sad for missing out the few first years

that seems a bit strange to me. According to Yggdrasils website it was released on 5th march 2018. but at the same time i can also find videos of the games in youtube, this one posted by yggdrasil themself in 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gu-6RuM40k4

This game is OLD. I have one nice win from 2015,Watch here:

Yeah, it seems it's kind of a remake of the old game (which If I remember correctly was a straight up clone of NetEnt's Evolution).

The "run" element of the new game in the freespins isn't the same as in the old game, right?
