Hello everyone,
Signed up to a casino through the Casinogrounds link and just thought id make others aware of this;
First off, deposited with Revolut Card as seen it as an option, i have a gambling block on the card but thought ive never seen it as an option so will give it a go. Deposit $25 but my account is charged $26.xx.
When looking at my bank statement to see what has caused this discrepancy it is because the casino is using a merchant called 'Scorpionhouseonline' which charges in Chinese currency (CN¥). They also do not charge as a Casino but instead as a regular merchant to get around the gambling blocks- which was confirmed by Revolut.
I emailed them asking why this is the case as if i deposit $25 i should be charged just that. They didnt respond, they just closed my account.
Not sure if this is common practice charging via a non Casino merchant but it seems very strange and a little underhanded.
Dont want to name the casino incase others try but just wanted to bring it to the CasinoGround admins attention that they are promoting a casino who does this.
