Did a cashout yesterday from a casino.. And thought that just to have it secured I'd like to lock the withdrawal..

Searched for the function but there was none, so I went to the chat to ask about it... To my big surprise.. (not really) the support agent told me that they don't have the lock withdrawal function in use.. But it would be possible to use it on their casino platform...

In my ears this sounds a bit like they want people to cancel their withdrawals and lose it back again...

The lock feature, in my opinion should be included in the responsible gaming list along with the depo limits and so on..

What do you guys think?

Ps. Did the next best thing locked my account for the next 24h instead.. And will open it again when the withdrawal has been processed..

I think locking withdrawal feature is really great and should be mandatory for all casinos. Casumo, Rizk and Slotsmillion have that feature as far as I know, hopefully more casinos will follow this practice. You did the right thing locking the account for 24 hours, done so myself several times :D

I've had casinos actively trying to encourage me to reverse a withdrawal before. Once was just 'why don't you reverse it and continue your luck' when I was chasing why they were taking so long to process it and another has emailed a couple of times whilst waiting for me to send ID saying if I reversed it they would give me a 15% (I think it was) bonus on it.

In my opinion when they are trying to promote responsible gaming this is disgusting practise on there part. It doesn't affect me, but if anyone was a potential problem gambler they don't need that temptation.

For the record none of the above were really 'big' reputable casinos but still not good behaviour

There is no excuse for withdrawals not to be locked and its just casinos being greedy that prevents them from doing it.
