Hi Everyone,
Hope you are having a great day!
This is going to be a long post, basically a short book so if you have nothing better to do - feel free to read!
It will be a lot of information, about Leo Vegas and how they decided to treat me near the end of 2017.
I want to share my experience as a player at Leo Vegas for about two years.
If you are going to read this post, please don't read between the lines.
Let's begin with a few things first:
1. English is not my native language so please excuse any spelling or grammatical issues that may occur. I will do my best.
2. I have been gambling for 10+ years. I am not a beginner and I know a lot in and around gambling. Have been playing on everything from Baccarat to sports betting for many years.
3. I am used to gamble with amounts that may seem high for a normal gambler. (Basically slots 10-100 euros a spin. High but not that high)
4. I am Level 60 (or 59, not sure since I can't log in at this moment) on Leo Vegas.
5. 80% of my action at Leo Vegas comes from Casino and more specifically slots.
6. Leo Vegas 2017 profit/loss: Lost about 25-30.000€
7. Overall Leo Vegas is/was a decent site. All gambling sites are like Cancer, it's just a matter of picking the best of the worst when selecting a gambling site to play at in my opinion.
8. Leo Vegas actually didn't do anything wrong (if you follow their never endless terms and conditions). Everything is covered there to save their back. Nothing new under the sun there.
9. It has become obvious (for me) that Leo Vegas don't give a giants rats ass about which Level in VIP you are. 1 or 60 doesn't matter. You are a piece of garbage to them no matter what.
10. Their Loyalty Department is great. <personal information>, son of a classic Swedish poker-player (from the old days) is a good guy whom I met in person when I won a trip with Leo Vegas. Usually no problems to get a bonus when running bad or so. Talking with their regular support is in 9 out of 10 times like talking to another brick in the wall. Completely useless and It's a mystery that these people actually get paid for what they do.
So where to start off? I like(d) Leo Vegas because:
1. Celebrities backing it up, makes it more safe? (At least I thought)
2. Huge selection of Slot games.
3. Tend to run promotions and raffles for trips quite often. Nice extra compared to other sites!
4. Fast withdrawals. At least when you reach a decent VIP-level.
5. Again, their loyalty department.
6. Lot's of Deposit options.
7. Betting. Even though I play main part of my betting elsewhere they do have some decent odds at select markets.
Leo Vegas ain't that bad. Right? No, they are not - If you could trust them.
Never had any major problems with Leo. In fact, even though losing a lot to Leo I still continued to play there because I liked the site.
Here is the reason why I am personally pissed off at Leo. Try to consider this without the amount of money involved. This is peanuts for me and even more so for Leo Vegas.
Leo Vegas in August or September (not 100% sure) started the LVFC (Leo Vegas Football Club). I have been a part of that since the start and even though one could wish the amounts would be 50€ instead of 20€ it's a nice campaign.
Information from the site:

Joining LVFC couldn’t be easier – place an In-Play bet of 200 kr or more and we will welcome you to the club by giving you a Profit Boost immediately! From then on, for every In-Play bet of 200 kr or more you place at odds of 1.5 or higher you will move towards your next reward.

The only thing I am interested in is Level 20, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50.
The eye-candy is the level 50 which gives you a great 100% Profit Boost.
Other than these offers you will enter a raffle for tickets to World Cup 2018 and usually get some sort of gifts.
At least they sent out gifts the first 2 months, and after that I received nothing. Has been in the LVFC since the start.
Why did I highlight 30 first levels? This is how many bets I had placed around Christmas. I had plans to finish December months LVFC the days before New years with the English football.
Please remember this 30 levels for later.
So, I have been playing all year on Leo Vegas. Some months I lost as much as 6.000€. No problem. Not a word from Leo or anything about that.
Hey, they make money so why should they give me a call and check if this is normal?
And again, not a problem. I invested with great profit in Cryptocurrency during 2017 and I have been betting high all year.
Please remember I have met <personal information> at Loyalty department in person, when I won a trip with Leo.
At December 12 (after several months of losing, bad streak) I sent <personal information> or whomever opened the loyalty mail that day (the email was intended for <personal information>) a message somewhat like this:
" Every game I touch becomes a loss, the bad streak won't simply end.
Ovechkin won't score even though Caps made 5 goals. Crazy.
Neither Panarin who had a sick run until I chose to pick him for points.
Laughable, basically lost 15.000€ in 1 month. (No I hadn't but a lot, like 5-6.000€ maybe)
My bank feels good. [insert ironic comment] and most likely have to end my vacation and go home xD. (was on vac).
No Christmas presents for the kids this year, the gambling companies took it all. [sarcasm, ironic comment].
Also sent a picture of my bank account showing (0). Again, ironic and sarcasm. Thought they would understand. "
I was asking for some kind of bonus, because of the bad streak.
(The facts: The picture of the bank I sent is a bank I am closing shortly and I took the picture after I had uploaded the last money that was in it to my stock exchange account.
I have total of 3 banks, 2 after closing the above. Again, might not be the smartest thing to write to a gambling site and hard to explain how I wrote in English when you can't write with the same "tone" as in my native language.
It was supposed to be sarcasm, and a way to explain the bad streak.
Maybe If I would have used more smiley - I don't know.
The day after I received a response from <personal information> saying something like this: (I shortened it a bit)
" Hi. Sorry to hear about that situation.
Gets me a little bit worried. Please visit LeoSafePlay if you would like information on how to keep gambling on controllable level.
I am happy you did a nice profit in bitcoins. "
Remember, this email was sent from <personal information> December 14.
I assume <personal information> reported my email (which might have been the right thing to do from his pov) to their responsible gambling department.
I didn't think more about this so I continued to play, depositing and climbing the LVFC ladder.
On December 27 (2 weeks after <personal information> responded) I got an email reading:
" Hello, I hope this email finds you well.
On Leo Vegas we always strive that gambling should be fun and entertaining, no matter if you lose or win. It's incredibly important that you, as a customer never spend more money than you can afford to loose. To play casino doesn't involve luck or skill, only about chance and variance. This means that you can get the big wins but also loose money. (You don't say?) This is why casino only should be used as entertainment. We, at Leo Vegas do care about our players and have come up that a break will do you good where you can focus on other things outside gambling. So we have decided to pause your account for 3 months. This means you will not be able to gamble until this pause is over. (It's not like I play a lot either. 4-6 hours a week? And that is a maximum.) This was not an easy decision to make (You don't say again? You make money of me which is your business. I understand it was extremely hard) but we feel like this is the best thing for you. The thing we want with this break is for you to enter the right track so we hope you understand and use this a positive step. We would like to inform you that you cannot open any new accounts and must wait these 3 months until you can re-activate your account. "
I sent an answer to both loyalty and the email above saying that It was intended as sarcasm and ironic.
But I was very clear that I totally accepted the break since it was my mistake to write like that. Again, I accept my "punishment" for not thinking ahead.
The break is not the issue here. I have no complaints.
Several emails going back and forth between Leo and me, sending to loyalty department and getting an answer that the "relevant department" is working on it.
Basically what I was complaining about was these two things:
1. I got paused/banned when I had finished 31 levels of LVFC. All the good stuff were just around the corner starting at 35.
2. Leo Vegas did wait almost two weeks before they did this. They let me play and deposit how much I wanted between December 14 and December 27. If they were so worried and did care so much about their players. Why didn't they contact me on December 15, 18, 19, 20, 21 or 22? If they were so worried about me playing to much (I have been playing the same amounts all year) why not even a single phone-call? Once I had this issue with another site. I was playing quite low and started playing real high. They called me 1 day after and just checked in and see what was going on and I explained I had my bankroll moved between sites.
Leo Vegas? What do they do? They wait 2 weeks and then, with only 4 days left of the year and Decembers month LVFC. They suddenly decide to pause my account?
And not even a phone call. They send a pathetic email from some Laurence whom not even in 2017 have an email to respond or a phone number to call to. You have to go through the support.
They absolutely couldn't wait four more days to pause the account? They waited two weeks, what is another four days? They let me play on for two whole weeks and decide to pause my account when I am about to receive the good perks from the LVFC. Insanely frustrating. I don't care if Leo send me on a break, I will just play elsewhere. I accept the break. The disgusting thing is that they let me play and deposit like nothing and few days before New Years, boom. Merry Christmas and thank you for your money during the year. Good bye!
Many emails again going back and forth. All I am asking for is a fair compensation since I put out 620€ for the first 31 Levels and I can't even have the chance to finish it.
A serious site would have called me already on December 15 or 18 and asking some questions and maybe but a pause on the account already at that date.
No, Leo let me play on for two weeks. Basically stealing a few hundred Euros more from me. This is fraud in my books.
And as I began with, Leo:s terms for the campaign say they did nothing wrong. Right is on their side. However, morals? Do they care about morals and fair play? Absolutely not!
I don't care about the money. I am however a guy that have a hard time to put these kind of things behind me.
I feel like: Is this a joke? Is this how you treat a player on VIP-level 60 that basically gave you 30.000€ during 2017 only?
If they want to block my account, do it December 15 or 18. Don't let me play on for several weeks and then block it just days before the month ends.
If so they could have waited four more days and put a pause on it Jan 1.
Emails going back and forth. This time I have to wait two weeks for an answer and just today I got a response, two times actually with the same information.
Ridiculous that something so easy shall take two weeks.
In the email it says:
Leo Vegas have the right to pause or permanently block an account at any time and don't have to give a reason. Those are terms you accepted when you created the account.
- That is true. I didn't have three months of my life to read all of the terms. Probably Leo has the right to seize my car/house/cat/wife at any point to.
Regarding the campaign LVFC you are automatically kicked out if your account in any way gets suspended.
- Of course. It's clear in the end when reading the terms for the campaign. I didn't ask for a break. Neither did I do anything wrong. Simply just following the rules and gamble like everyone else.
I can understand, that Leo paused my account. When reading my email It might not be easy to understand sarcasm without more smileys but It doesn't take away the fact that Leo:
1. Let me play on for so long (weeks), depositing after Loyalty department read and responded to my email.
They were totally ok with getting more money from me but they couldn't show me the respect of letting me finish the month of December with days to go.
And neither would they agree to a fair compensation.
Again, they have all the right in the world to do so according to their terms but I did thought they had a heart and could seem to understand the issue.
For me, this is fraud and nothing else but planned theft.
A serious site would have called the player to "clear things out" if they were worried. Not hide behind anonymous nicknames and emails. (<personal information> excluded)
I do still like Leo Vegas as a site, but I also hate it at the same time.
For me, whom works in customer service as a job it's a joke considering everything around it and to a player on quite a high VIP-level.
You can continue to play on Leo but I'd highly recommend to not have large amounts of money in your account.
For all it's worth, they can close your account at any time and don't have to mention why.
Thank you Leo Vegas, enjoy the money. Spend it in good health.
Hope it was worth if for literally pennies.
Am I wrong? Am I right? Please feel free to ask any questions or comment below.
I hope my writing was good enough to make it easy to read and understand. Anything unclear, let me know.
Hope you are having a great day!
