[RESOLVED] CasinoFriday Charging 10% Fee On Deposit + Takes Deposit Twice

Today I made a 200 NOK deposit on CasinoFriday. I haven't used this site a lot, cus they charge insane fees for deposits and hide behind "We don't charge a fee, that will be the third party payment provider", as if they're not the ones who made a deal with a third party payment provider in the first place. The fact the user needs to pay a hidden fee is ridiculous!

And that's not all; After I made the deposit, I see the account suddenly has a 400 NOK balance. I figured they gave some sort of bonus, as I've probably spent tens of thousands of euros there by now, only to find out they had taken the money from my account twice!

It's not a lot of money, so it's not a big deal for me, but it's a matter of principles. This should NEVER happen, and if it were to happen, they should compensate!

I contacted their support and said I want the extra 200NOK refunded, along with the 10% fee. Their support said "They'll take this up with the payments team, and they'll get back to me". Imagine if this happens to someone who's then unable to buy food and has to wait for something like this to be resolved!

Side Note: I made a failed deposit first, as I input the wrong CVC (I input the CVC on the card from my local bank instead of the Revolut card CVC). So if they come back saying "The first payment didn't actually fail", that's an even bigger deal.

What do you think an online casino should do if these things happen? Do you guys just accept these insanely high fees?

The 10% probably only comes because you didnt wager the deposit 1x. Casinos need to do that to go against Money laundring and that stuff.

Hello!

Thank you for posting about this, and making us aware. I saw it today, and immediately reached out to our partner. They have now responded back to me, saying that they will reach out to you directly.

I made a 200NOK payment and 220NOK was taken from my bank account. It's a fee.
CasinoFriday claims it's a conversion fee by the bank from NOK to Euros, but that's not entirely true, cus on Revolut I have accounts for both Euros and NOK, so there is no conversion.

Hi!
Thank you! They got in touch today, and the issue has been resolved! The money will be refunded within 5 working days. A lot of time for a small refund, but at least it's getting refunded.

In their reply they claim I made 2 deposits within 30 seconds, and that I input the correct CVV or whatever it's called both times, which I'm still sure I didn't do, so that's a bit weird. But ah well.

Consider the matter fixed :)  Thanks mate!
