Hi,

Clicked on CG's €600 exclusive welcome offer for leovgeas. It is advertised as a parachute bonuses. This is leos terms -

'The New Player must wager their New Player Casino Welcome Bonus 30 times on real money casino games before the New Player Casino Welcome Bonus can be paid out in real money'

However after going on leo chat to confirm it was actually a deposit match and not those terrible cashback offers (shxt EV) disguised as bonus matches (false advertising) I was greeted with the attached response from chat.

So @Skylined87this isnt a deposit match? This isnt a parachute bonus as advertised or have leo got it wrong?

I know they own a majority stake in your company and they have a history of giving streamers fake money but come on CG! You really need to falsely advertise 'bonuses' to players?

The First Deposit: When you do your first ever deposit*, you will receive 100% up to €/$600. You won't have the funds straight away though, and you need to wager your deposit before any bonus amount is credited your account:

  • Deposit €20 and wager €900 and receive €30
  • Deposit €50 and wager €2250 and receive €75
  • Deposit €100 and wager €4500 and receive €150
  • Deposit €250 and wager €11250 and receive €375
  • Deposit €400 and wager €18000 and receive €600
*Remember to doublecheck full bonus terms and conditions.

i copied this straight from the page on casinogrounds promoting their new Leovegas Offer (https://casinogrounds.com/news/updates/new-leovegas-offer-casinogrounds-players/). Which is pretty much exactly what the person in live chat is telling you. I don't really understand what your point is.

Hello there ,

Correct me if I am wrong but it doesn't say parachute bonuses.  Not only the welcome bonuses , even for the existing players leo only gives this kind of bonuses and they are clear about it. I know not many people like this kind of bonuses but as a table games player I like it myself. I have been mostly successful with wagering , when sometimes I am nearly there I just redeposit something small to meet the wager( Dont know whether multiple deposits contribute to wagering for the welcome bonuses ). The good thing is you get the bonus as real money balance(after wagering ) and free to do whatever you want without any restrictions.

Few weeks ago, i was not aware of all the rules then  but just took *deposit 200 euros  get 100 euros * offer for live casino  , and I cashed out 1200 euros . I always thought you revoke the bonus when you withdraw but no later that day when i logged back in , I noticed 100 euros real money was available to claim . I was happy and took that to roulette and cashed out another 800 the same day. Both withdrawals were successful and the money was in my bank in minutes .

Sorry my bad but this is what i see.

@Orzabot Just logged in to my laptop after posting the screenshot from my phone  and yes i see the same as you do, it does clearly say  parachute bonus . Hopefully they change it soon to avoid future confusions.

It’s very clear it’s not parachute bonuses. It’s not a bonus in anyway at all. As usual it’s a cashback offer being falsely advertised as a deposit bonus....CG have previous for this with numerous casinos including party.

Furthermore Leo chat told me they NEVER offer parachute bonuses. So I don’t know why this is listed on CGS site next to the offer?

Hey @I_only_post_wins

Apologies for the confusion this has created for you. We will shortly amend the naming of the bonus to "post-wager bonus" to make it more clear.
It’s not a bonus.

Its cashback to the amount of your original deposit. It’s false advertising to label it a bonus.

If they didn’t have a majority share in your company I’m sure this offer would be given short shrift. It’s awful.

In most of cases, cashback is based on your losses.

The bonus on Leo comes with a wagering requirement. If you manage to fulfill the wager, you will release the bonus.

It is not to everyone's liking and I can understand that.

It’s just not in anywhere a bonus and this is the third of fourth time your site has listed offers incorrectly.

@I_only_post_wins As @Skylined87 already acknowledged the mistake and going to rename the bonus , relax and move on mate .

As @scribblebibbles mentioned in this post,  terms are very clear when you click the link . We are supposed to read the terms anyway.
Talk is cheap.

How many ppl have signed up to the offer with these terms and then spaffed their money away because they were annoyed the correct bonus didn’t add. It’s basic gambler psychology and compulsion. There is a reason affiliates do these things and it’s disingenuous.

Keep it down a notch. CG and the people behind it (Kim the big dosser) are awsome guys, who do a lot for the community. If they made a mistake its not because they want to betray you for some misely bucks.

They're definitely not parachute bonuses, but I don't see how Leo's bonuses aren't bonuses. They work differently than most casinos, but I actually prefer that they require real money wagering and allow you to freely deposit/withdraw with a bonus active without forfeiting anything. I particularly like their live casino bonuses. 30x wagering for a 50% bonus on blackjack or baccarat is a strong redeposit bonus.
