[FEEDBACK] Game Promotions in 2024

Hello dear community!

I would love to hear some feedback on our game promotions and how we run them.

- Do you prefer shorter promos "Flash Promos" or normal promos "Game promo"? Do you have alternative suggestion regarding length of promos?
- Which ones did you like the most?
- Which ones did you dislike the most?
- Do you feel like promo terms are fair?
- Do you feel promos are done transparently?
- Do you like promos being seen / played on stream in current format? Would you change anything?
- Would you like to see something new, if so please specify?
- If you have any other valuable input for that matter, please write it as well.

Feel free to answer any or all of the questions, we will take note at all responses and then make appropriate plans for hopefully something even better

I prefer the promos that are a challenge, so 30x is better than 15x, but I would prefer 60x+. I think the x should be based around the actual amount spent, so 10p base plus 5p golden bet is 15p and a 30x target is £4.50 not £3. I think people who bonus buy should have to at least make a profit on the spin. 100x bonus buy netting 65x base win. Sorry, try again until you make a profit.

As far as fairness, I think CG have done an excellent job making everything above board and very fair.

Naturally I'd prefer less focus on Slotmill and others who don't penetrate the UK, but that's just self-interest 

For the promos that require posting on the forum, there should be some form of anti spambot clause as there are a lot of unconstructive spammy posts or people who just constantly post the same message into Big Win threads who are clearly just trying to enter the promos without ever posting anything constructive.

I would live different type of promos. So i think flash+normal promos you run are amazing. More promos where the best win in a slot gets the highest prize would be ideal to me, but i love what you are doing.

Also maybe try to make less promos that are restricted to one casino, because sometimes it is impossible to make account troygh CG links if you already have an account at the casino. I do understand you need your links to be used , but maybe add more casinos to the list so they would not be so restricted that only 1 casino play is allowed.

Based upon the feedback over the years, people are not too keen on high x amounts. However, it is a valid point as the point of promotions is to get players discover and familiarize with the slot and in return provide a feedback which is valuable for the game providers. Will think on this.

Can't do anything there, but I'm sure they're exploring to extend their slots to other territories.

Highest X win type of promos may discourage others to participate once they see a really high x win submission and that the top prize is most likely gone. But that might be just how I see it.

Majority of promos is not limited to specific casinos, however those which are - are limited due to casino's contribution to the promo and also to incentivize sign-ups. The more of those we get, the more we can do on the future promotions - we are affiliates after all.

I like both flash and normal promos. I think it will be nice if freeplay tournaments have limitations like everybody have x amount of spins. Many people just put on autoplay and literally keep running it for days to save a spot on top 10 at the leaderboard.

Other than that everything is great and appreciate the effort what CG put in those promotions.

Ever since September Amazon have prevented using Amazon credit to buy 3rd party gift cards Amazon credit has got a lot less valuable to me. The only thing Amazon seem competetive on nowadays is tech; clothing and groceries are way overpriced and I don't currently need any tech. I don't know the behind the scenes reasons why you use Amazon, but maybe there could be a way to get prizes paid by Paypal or some other fungible method?

As a company, we cannot issue cash prizes - hence the Amazon. Note that whatever Kim/Hampus are giving away is coming from their pockets, not CG.
Promotions are part of CG and as such we have to stick to Amazon Vouchers.

I prefer longer length promos due to being quite busy often, flash promos I often miss. I'd rather the promos that have a lower requirement of X win, I think it'll be a bit unfair for people who don't have as much money to wager for longer waiting for a 30x Win, I understand the whole experiencing a new game etc but I think it's important to keep it lower for everyone. I love all the promotions so far apart from the ones where you have a huge balance of play money playing those Yggdrasil games, just feels like who has unlimited time will spin thousands of times and make the scores very high to beat, my favourite promo is the one where you were limited with how many spins you have, I think one was a money train one where you only had 200 spins, that was exciting knowing you have a limited time to make the scoreboard, would love to see more of those! The highest Win tournament was a fun one until I saw someone had a huge win , when you see someone with 6000x+ it made me just not want to participate in the tournament and play my usual favourite slots instead, not sure how that can be fixed to make it more enjoyable. 

I love being part of this community , I'd like to thank everyone who makes these give away promotions possible, you guys constantly have promotions going on, I'm going to be looking forward to big holiday events like Christmas here after seeing how awesome all of those prizes / tournaments were.

I always feel uneasy about the freeplay comps as they are open to techinical abuse/cheating and offer little incentive to actually play it for hours on end during the time they run. The ones with a fixed amount of spins are by far the safest ways to run that kind of promo.

Biggest x win comps etc aways favour those with large bankrolls who will win way more often because they can risk/play more volume. I never bother with them on other sites beause theres always certain people with 4 figures deposits who grind it and win the bulk of the prizes who are in a financial position to take that level of risk and see close to the normal RTP for the slot making it a great situation for them.

I think that the promo format itself is pretty good. Even the flash promos are for about 3 days so it's plenty of time imo. They are also as fair as they come since someone who can spend 20 and someone who can spend 200 for a promo have pretty much the same chance of winning. Now I'm not saying that's better. I enjoyed the good old days much more, this place was gladiators arena, ya boy @vanHooff was turning up with his 700 bonus buys per promo strat, everyone was fighting for dear life.There was none of that 'oh we have 500 euro so let's split them - 50 euro for 10 people' bs, it was go big or go home. Some people don't realise that all of that equal prize distribution  was done for them and still go, yea this is too much man.

Now that being said there is one thing that I find hard to understand and it's the rules of the promos. I've seen a guy didn't receive an IPhone because he broke the rules( assuming the information he provided was correct) , in particular, he didn't put the name of the casino he played on and also even if the casino was visible from the screenshot provided, the name still should be written as per the rules. For the record, I agree with that, there rules, rules are to be followed and if not, there are consequences. Now the rules also state that you have to provide feedback on the game you play and I've seen way too many people post - 'Nice game' or my favourite  'I love NoLimit' with zero input about the game itself but still participate  without any repercussion, so where do we draw the line? It's a bit of a grey area as to which rules have to be followed and which can be skipped.

I love your promos I'm not so keen on the shorter ones as I often miss them or forget to post with my entry.

Sometimes I feel like the people who can bonus buy on promos have an advantage as they don't have to grind a slot like us Brits and I could have bought a few bonuses by the time I sometimes get the win I need.

You are also great at rectifying any issues.

Yes it's valid point and already pointed out at one of the previous posts here

This comes with a whole new set of problems, ranging from fees for each issued card to straight up fraud. So vouchers will stay as they are. (yes I did research)

We always do our best to prevent cheating and abuse, but in this technological age - there will always be ways and means..
Regarding the "unlimited" freeplay tournaments, it's something we can't fix - however feedback has been given to the provider(s).

I dont take part on any promo here, because for me (as a player )this are no real promotions. In nearly(?) every single promotion the goal is to play in the promoted casinos. This is not a problem at all, but for a gambler who play in onlinecasinos this promos are useless, because at the end of the day i prefer to deposit my money in the casinos i like, and not in which any kind of promo are avilable. It's easy to use in NZ mate. Just use it at amazon.com.au. Delivers is like 5-7 days from Aus usually. Skylined even changes it to Aus dollars as well (ty sir) then just 1 tap to your gift card balance. Hope your not trying to use the US amazon

Anyway, I think the promos currently run are great. Fair for everyone as there random without advantage either way (ie: fat stacks, problem gambling).

Not too sure about the Free play tourneys as it is either luck based but usually time based. Maybe spin limits say 500 spins max?

Or top score tourneys win, max spin limit, no buys, any bet? Dunno how you'd police it  without it being a big thing

from my experience they can get expensive for the uk last 3 times i gave it ago i couldnt get 30x in few hundred spins, when i should just be able to buy for around 100x,fudge ukgc!!!!!

I like the 1 weekly promos with 10 prizes the most. Together with free to play tournaments with a set number of spins.

The promos are very fair and transparant. Except for the multis in free to play tournaments, but you cant do much about it I guess. 

I would love promos with biggest x multi winning higher prizes. Just like a top 3 and than 7 or 10 random prizes. Top x win prizes always based on base bet, no bonus buys allowd.
