ok so lets stop a topic of rev share do the streamers think this good or bad as its core purpose to take money that ur sign ups have lost

is there a way we can reduce the amount of advertising via nightbot maybe get nightbot to put up gamcare notices also

and how about my idea of making a mod who sole purpose is to watch chat and help those who need help

lets get the ball rolling guys hot topic and lets try to discuss it here not on live chats

A lot of streamers already have their bot set to display messages on responsible gambling.

Those that need help with gambling need qualified help, not a moderator who may not be qualified to help with a gambling problem.

One could argue that rev share is better because the affiliate will look after the player in case of problems and will assist unlike CPA where the revenue is already made.

There is a dark side to every vice (gambling, drinking, smoking etc) and for some reason gambling is looked at with more horror sometimes than a drunk. If you want to see the true dark side of gambling see the chat of rocknrollas stream, its toxic. I love Paul and he is great but unfortunately his kind of gambling attracts the moths like a storm and some of the chat in there is dire. Is this Pauls fault ? No, he tries his best to explain to people and in some cases he helps some people. Do I care about affliates making some money ? No, trust me most lose more than they make and in some ways its nice the casinos dont get it all anyways. I like the fact I can suppose a streamer by using his link, you have a choice and at the end of the day it is a simple system. To do with problem gambling its normally because of other things that are happening in peoples lifes that make this uncontrollable all of a sudden. All casino should pay an amount of money in tax form to go to a government backed scheme to help people. In my view most streamers know the pain and will try to help anyone who wants help. The trolling comes from people who enjoy making other people feel bad because they do regardless of what the topic is so that is the norm. My only issue at the moment with streamers is the reality of how good and easy they get bonuses to the normal person. Once you have signed up to a casino they dont care, most will only give more offers to those who deposit huge amounts. Plus the other thing that irrates me about affliates at the moment is they can only offer things to people who are new, casinos should understand that isnt going to last and develop a new code system so that a streamer can give us a code for them at a casino I'm already signed up at. In some ways when I want to help a streamer I can't because they can't offer me a casino I'm not already joined too. The whole affliate/streamer thing is about to grind into a halt sooner or later as no one can find a new casino for people to join and they will also suffer dwindling returns as each year goes by. And as streamers get bonuses like confetti unlike the regular joe, this will also increase anger towards streamers that its not real. In my opinion the whole system needs to be reviewed and changed for the future. Give me a code for a streamer that has an offer and supports them, much better in the future.

thanks bud i put this up for the streamers to respond no surprise not one of them have bothered so bk to the live chat then if we cant have a civil way of doing things on here then dont blame people for taking it to the live streams

You need to give it a little time for people to respond. People have other things to do apart from being on message boards 24/7

In terms of deposit bonuses, not every casino gives these out to streamers. As an example, I stream Novibet and get the same treatment as any other player.

Casinos do give streamers bonuses because streaming costs money. You can look it as a reward for giving them the exposure on Twitch and Youtube.

understood but ur average person will get two max 3 deposit bonus the streamer get them 24/7 what is the issue is about the in rev share and sign ups if the streamer plays average play he could very easy make a stream without making any loses or very few and the there still issue over giveaways these are illegal you have to be licence in this country unless you offer a totally free entry ether it by post or phone but it must be a totally free to enter.  These giveaways are only open to people that sign up or deposit the streamer hoping that the person will never only just sign up with £20 The Bandit proof of this his 600 plays lost at total of £62,000 for October his kick back was £5000 he gave away £1500 still making a nice profit of £3500 off the back of other people loses this is what causing the outrage till this is sorted then it will only get more traction dont matter how many vlog and blogs in the end someone will end up in court then the wheels will come off the wagon and you tube will ban these streams so to all those streamer make hay whilst you can.

The nature of slot play says the longer you play the more you are set to lose. Some streamers play a lot and these deposit match bonuses make up some of the in play losses. Their affiliate commission plan is no different to Joe Blog affiliate with a website on shared hosting who doesnt have the expense of live slot play.

In terms of giveaways, some proper research is needed on the legality of them as at first glance it appears a license is required to run these. But I am no lawyer!!!

Its hard to help someone who is addicted, they particularly need to help themselves, but we as a community can direct them to the services provided that help.

I for example have won 2k over the last couple of weeks and what I did was limit all my accounts to £25 deposit per month so I can now enjoy the money I won and spend it on something nice rather than put it all back over a period of time.

yes the bandit can and has made some money for his streams/videos off the back of affiliation, but he has spent the time making these videos, organising deals for his affiliates and running these competitions. His time and his life are not free, nor should they be. Plus what has customers who sign up through an affiliate got to lose when they get something that they wouldn't through a normal casino sign-up. We get exclusive bonuses and we get competitions and giveaways. If you are going to gamble anyway regardless of who/what way you sign up to a casino you might aswell take the option that gives you something extra.

Morning slotsofun i think your comments bang on bud and i am so pleased that you got ur gambe under control and that you had a nice little win alot of these issue are related to the video posted by the big streamer posting video of stupid mega win one trying to out do the other this has caused the outrage and it need to stop its just making things worse when one streamer makes light of 600 of his players loosing £69,000 in one month then we have a problem that just cant be ignored and trust me this is just one streamer thats come out and respect for him for doing it but i cant sit happy when its played out as oh well its £69,000 he may of only made £5000 from his commission but his players still lost to what some could see as a third of a house price.

I'm not here to ask for help. I just wanted to share my story and remind people that it's okay to ask for help.

When I was younger, I built up a reasonable amount of debt simply from being a bit reckless with money, but I didn't tell anyone that I was in debt. After being with my girlfriend for a few years, she wanted to start saving to buy our own home. I was on a reasonably good wage, so my plan was to gradually clear the debt whilst also saving for a property. After a few months, I noticed that although I was saving a small amount, my debt wasn't reducing. I felt a lot of pressure to get things sorted quickly before anyone discovered that I was in debt.

I was a casual gambler and had a few decent wins. I convinced myself that I could win enough to clear my debt. That was the biggest mistake of my life so far. The next year of my life consisted of gambling and lying to the people closest to me. As you can imagine, my savings depleted and my debt grew. This resulted in more pressure, which led to me gambling even more. It was a vicious cycle.

In December last year, I found myself in a situation that I couldn't lie my way out of. I had no choice but to come clean and watch my entire life fall apart. Not only would I be in debt including about six pay day loans, but I'd be hated and alone too, right?

WRONG!

I came clean to my girlfriend, my parents and my future in-laws. All of which were upset and my girlfriend was understandably heartbroken and angry. But more than anything, they were concerned and supportive. I attended regular one to one counselling sessions with GamCare for about eight weeks and passed over control of my bank account to my partner. By February, I'd consolidated all of my debt into a single, long term loan. I had full control over my bank account and my life again.

With hand on heart, I can honestly say that I haven't gambled since the day I game clean, with the exception of a small lottery syndicate I take part in. More importantly, I don't have any interest or desire to gamble. I've saved hard and I'm proud to say that we recently exchanged contracts on our first home. We'll be moving soon. I've also managed to enjoy life more because I can afford to go to football matches, nights out etc...

On a separate note about buying a property. If anyone tells you that you can't get a mortgage if you've had pay day loans, which is commonly said by 'expert' Martin Lewis, they're wrong. I received a full mortgage offer less than six months after clearing my pay day loans. It's a negative factor on the application, but can be outweighed by the positive ones.

Gambling should be fun. If it isn't fun, then it's time to stop. If you have a problem (and you'll know that you do, but just refuse to accept it), it's time to ask for help. It's difficult, scary and emotional. It'll probably be the hardest thing that you ever do. But it'll also be the best thing that you ever do. The people that you're most afraid or ashamed to tell, will be the same people that can help you the most.

Help is always available. Just ask for it.

If anyone ever wants help from someone who's been through it, feel free to message me.

Ive only been streaming for a couple of months now, but being on Net Rev i believe is better for all parties. If you have a CPA deal only, streamers would need to get as many sign ups as poss. When you, as a player/customer, have signed up, then actually the streamer doesn't have any reason to help out in case of any problems his/her player/customer has/have. On Net Rev it's a bit diff. as you really would like your players/customers remain happy with whatever site they're affiliated with. That's prob. the main reason I think Net Rev is better.

With regards to Gambleaware, im not a professional on the issue. The only thing I can do as a streamer, is listen and point you in the right direction, to get some help.

Supersmask thanks for ur take on this issue i agree i feel cpa is better way to go but whilst rev share is very lucrative streamers will not want to go that way mate

Either way, commission flows into the pocket of the affiliate.

With a CPA only deal an affiliate can refer people to dodgy casinos and they wouldn't care because the money is in their pocket and no  further money will be incoming.

With a Rev Share deal it is in the interest of the affiliate to refer a player to a casino that looks after the player so that the player continues to play rather than pisses off elsewhere because of the crap experience.

All of this applies for responsible gamblers who can control their gambling and that is the majority of people playing at casinos.
