twitteraar Posted 21 June, 2020 Share Posted 21 June, 2020 I know, this is a subject that's not been talked much about. Please, as the guidelines says; it is ok to criticize, but keep it constructive and with respect. I'm wondering, what do gamblers vote/believe in? I'd say I'm a classic liberal. I believe in the right of individuals to decide for themselves how to direct their lives. I vote VVD in my country, The Netherlands. 😎 Link to comment

780xFTW Posted 22 June, 2020 Share Posted 22 June, 2020 you should always make use of your right to vote, even voting invalid is 100 times better than not making use of that right Link to comment

Choosing not to vote can be done for several reasons. One of which is that any non-vote is the most balanced vote man could bring, for people who are content in leaving the voting to the rest of the people. Also there have been situations where non-voting has led certain referendums to not meeting the minimum voting quotum, therefore making all of the referendum non-binding or invalid. Which could well be the optimal outcome for the non-voters. Link to comment
