BEWARE of Pots of Gold/CasinoUK.com (nektan)

I opened an account with CasinoUK.com and deposited £100, the funds failed to appear in my
account or even register in transaction history. I checked my bank account and funds had been debited. Feeling that a site that can operate in this manner I decided to email them and close my account (no live chat) and request returning my funds. (12/6/17)

Below are the emails exchanged.  They appear to be trying delay tactics, denial and the usual scammy stuff a potenitally fraudlent site does, First they say money is going to be returned in 3 days, then change to 10 days, then they say they never took the funds/ returned it.

Totally untrue funds taken from my account and have not been returned.

They also unwilling to send any evidence of funds returned , I requested twice.

Unwillingly 10 days late I signed up via casinodaddy to Pots of Gold, exactly same thing happened deposited funds didnt appear in my account. Sent an email (again no live chat) and on reply saw it is same group as Nektan. Immediately concerned I requested my funds to be returned.  Again similar tactics of we have sent funds ..... funds have not arrived from both.

It has been 6 days and still no sign of my funds, please show a copy of funds sent so I can give
to my bank to look for missing deposit.

Dear ,
Thank you for your email.
My name is Adrian and I am the Customer Services Manager and your case was raised to my attention.
I have personally reviewed your account and can confirm that you were correctly informed that the void had been processed on the 16th June.
Unfortunately you were mis informed about the time frame this takes. When voids are processed we are dependant on the issuer in how fast the monies are retuned to you. The time frame to receive a voided transaction is 10 working days. It could be sooner like mentioned above dpending on the issuer but we need to give at least 10 working days before you could see them credited in to your account.
I apologise for the information you were provided with. If by 10 working day your monies are not in your account please contact us back.

I hope  I have clarified your query for you.

Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind Regards,

Adrian

what are you talking about, read all the emails below.

You have said you have returned my funds 12 days ago, it has not arrived.

Now you are asking for my bank statement, can you confirm if you have sent my funds or
not?

It sounds very much like you havent even sent my funds yet

Dear

Thank you for your email.

We can confirm that the deposit was refunded on the 16/06/2017 which was the same day as the deposit was made, therefore the funds should have never been deducted from your current balance and should have only been deducted from your available balance.

Therefore if you check your bank statement you should be able to see that no funds were deducted from your bank account, meaning that you will not see any funds going back in to your account as those funds never left your bank account.

Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind Regards,

Jaydan

@slotspauper That is indeed very unfortunate. I would advise you that when you register to new casinos, ask our forum members for experiences, check / ask on Casinomeister and last, check it on AskGamblers. It's very easy these days to register to casino that will try to screw you. Also, if you registered through affiliate link - in your case CasinoDaddy, I would advise you to bring your problem to their attention. Every streamer should take care of their players in my opinion.

I hope you'll have luck getting your money back!

That's the problem with Nektan sites, they'res about a 100 or maybe more of their branded sites so some will be dodgy but most are rated high at askgamblers and like Skylined87 said, always check other players reviews at various forums before you deposit anywhere. I hope you get it sorted and i would report them to the UK gambling commission who will probably tell you to report them to IBAS. Good luck buddy

Had no issues with Netkan, made 17 deposits / withdrawals with their brands in May/June and everything went smoothly (minus the long pending period)

10 business days is the normal for a voided transaction or a transaction that didn't complete successfully.

Can you confirm if you used a visa debit/credit or a MasterCard?

I think half the time these customer service have no clue what they are talking about. Not a casino, but spotify. I needed a refund recently they took wrong amount. Person said to me, we haven't taken it , it has just been allocated to us, and it will come back to your balance within a number of days. A number of days past and nothing, got back to them, they refunded it, I had it the next day. Just useless.

Where do we stand in situations like slotpauper's, if they say they refunded it and it's never received? Can we contact police? or we just have to take them to court?
