jpearce622sb Posted 28 April, 2019 Share Posted 28 April, 2019 Hi there, I was hoping if i could get some advise for my situation. Back in January I signed up to west casino, I deposited using the welcome bonus and won £920. I went to withdraw but got refused as apparently my IP address had already claimed this offer which was of course, in breach of their terms. The problem is that the evidence they gave me of the other IP address was from another account based in Bradford who had claimed the same offer. I live in Northern Ireland and have no idea who this person is, so I assume my IP address has been recycled which is completely out of my control. Would anyone have any guidance to what I can do? Surely this is a massive flaw in their system which players have no control over. Many thanks in advance, James Link to comment
Slotspinner Posted 28 April, 2019 Share Posted 28 April, 2019 they should pay you out, if you can prove you live in ireland and the previous is in bradford, theyhave no grounds here or are scamming you imo Link to comment
jpearce622sb Posted 29 April, 2019 Author Share Posted 29 April, 2019 Thanks Slotsspinner. I've verified with them that my residential address is here in Northern Ireland. I've brought this up with the complaint team with ask gamblers months ago and they voted in their favour, I have now opened up a new complaint to try again but it doesn't look promising as it comes across as a clear breach of terms. Would you have any idea on how to prove my case? Many thanks for the response and keep rocking with your streaming ?, James Link to comment
pausefisk Posted 29 April, 2019 Share Posted 29 April, 2019 Have you tried to contact Your ISP to get a verified list of all Your IP history? That would be a very good proof. Anyway, i have a feeling this Casino is not interested in solving this case. Signing up to a Casino With this strict rules (in pratice) is like russian roulette. I Wonder how support would answer, if you asking before signup if they could verify that Your current IP has never been used on their site before…. Link to comment
jpearce622sb Posted 29 April, 2019 Author Share Posted 29 April, 2019 I very much agree it's highly unlikely that this would happen to people but it can and has. Unfortunately in UK it seems like an average T&C from what I've seen. Very strange why they track IP addresses instead of MAC address.. Thanks for the tip, I'll get in contact with my ISP today to see if it's possible to show my history. Thanks guys, James Link to comment
jpearce622sb Posted 13 May, 2019 Author Share Posted 13 May, 2019 Update: ECOGRA has unfortunately voted in the casinos favour. I'm now thinking about going forward with court proceedings. Has anyone had any luck taking a casino to court for unfair confiscation of winnings? This whole situation seems completely sketchy.. ask gamblers automatically ruling in the casinos favour as my IP address is apparently linked to 2 other accounts but I have seen no proof of this. They only provided screenshots of my ip being linked to 1 other account in a different country. Appreciate any feedback or tips. Link to comment
BoracicLint Posted 13 May, 2019 Share Posted 13 May, 2019 Go to IBAS,they are pretty good. And if necessary you can take them to a small claims court or court if needed. Link to comment
jpearce622sb Posted 11 June, 2019 Author Share Posted 11 June, 2019 Thanks. Unfortunately , IBAS are not affilaited with West Casino and the only ADR I could use was eCOGRA. I'm going to take them to court. Has anyone ever had much luck with winning their unfairly confiscated winnings through court? Link to comment
Slotspinner Posted 11 June, 2019 Share Posted 11 June, 2019 If you are honest with every information, this is just bollocks! You live in northern ireland, previous IP was from bradford, so they should pay you out as nobody in northern ireland with your ip claimed this offer unless some family member of yours with the same internet has claimed it Link to comment
jpearce622sb Posted 11 June, 2019 Author Share Posted 11 June, 2019 It is just bollocks!! It's completely ruined my trust in online gambling as it makes out that any casino can do this. I have screenshots from eCOGRA with the evidence provided from West Casino. Attached below. eCOGRA voted in their favour purely on this evidence below. Apologies, I actually meant 'Bedford' instead of Bradford, however this is an assumption based on username. This person is an unverified account, looking to be over the age of 60... I'm 24 years old so it's not even like a friend came over to gamble on my internet. No one in my house gambles and I live in the country side. Note that our sign up Ip addresses are completely different and they have only linked the 1 IP out of over 10... I believe I have the rights to share this info please let me know if I broke any of the forums terms. Is there anyone here in casinogrounds who are affiliated with this casino who could maybe put a word in for me? Link to comment
jpearce622sb Posted 11 June, 2019 Author Share Posted 11 June, 2019 Initial withdraw was £940 however they returned my deposit back of £20. So they confiscated £920 Link to comment
OnlyASpin Posted 11 June, 2019 Share Posted 11 June, 2019 They paid me well over £2k but obviously no IP issue, keep on giving em hassle Link to comment
Slotspinner Posted 11 June, 2019 Share Posted 11 June, 2019 They have to agree that this is a completely different user and no usage of bonuses used twice in same household Unless theres something youre not telling us, like its your father or something. I hope you are completely honest with everything and i hope theres going to be a resolve Link to comment
jpearce622sb Posted 11 June, 2019 Author Share Posted 11 June, 2019 I can completely and honestly say this other user has nothing to do with me or my household hence why I've been chasing this for 6 months. Any other ideas before I sue the casino? Link to comment
