Terms & Conditions unfair Translatation

Hello The Magician here I wanted to open a thread about Terms and Conditions about a few "dubious" casinos it's about translating Terms and Conditions into other languages since i stream myself and speak German  I noticed that a few pages have very bad translations of Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy which I find very unfortunate and even such casinos are partners with verified pages like Askgamblers.com I've already talked to support about it and said that it's not fair maybe some people can't speak English and don't understand some things what are poorly translated and some things are even still on english when they should supposed too be German for example but if you offer a language everything should be understandable and fair to people who play Gambling is expensive fun and if someone doesn't understand the translation and do something wrong the casino is very fast and punishes the player but the player  can't do anything about it because it says if it's not correct in your language use the english one only that counts which is again a loophole according to my opinion and should be changed and only casinos that have really written everything clean  or if it's understandable you should also support them and push therefore I'd like to know what you think about it if sorry for my bad english :) I would be happy about your opinion

I'd expect any casino who opened in a non English speaking country to make sure their ts and cs are translated correctly into the home player's language. It's the casino's responsibility if they want to make money from these customers. Surely it's the least they can do? You shouldn't need a university degree to play slots.

I understand your frustration and I agree with you on what ever you have mentioned. Casinos should always make sure everything is clear before they even start their business in that particular country. To be honest with you, I do not blame the casinos on this occasion, I blame the people who give them the license to legalise those casinos on that particular country before they realise they have not got everything explained 100% on their website.

What he said; "in case of disputes the English version shall prevail". 

These ToC's are written by lawyers, which costs a bunch. The translations on the other hand are translated by whomever is able to do so. It's a "dirty job" that gets passed on to customer service agents, freelance translators, someone else in the company etc. Whatever goes, with quality depending on if the individual in charge of getting these translations fixed cares about tonality, and more - as well as the experience of the person translating. 

I've done a couple of hundred of TOC's Privacy Policies and other disclaimers throughout the years. The one thing in common the good ones have is that they have the right people for these types of tasks, otherwise - "most" lean on English version.
