Verify Yourself before you deposit on any casino

Hi guys

Just thought to drop suggestion to you all who probably have had same issues as myself in the past with signing in to new casino and because their bonus offer is too sweet to let go you have straight away deposited money in to their website and as result you might have realised that the casino is dodgy and when you go to withdraw your winnings they have made issues such as: your card is not correctly photo taken nor your ID is not the relevant one for them to accept and all this is because they are trying to avoid paying your winnings therefore I strongly suggest that you verify yourself prior of you depositing to any casino not matter how trustworthy that casino might look so you avoid any issues in the future. 

By verifying yourself prior you avoid being scammed and I also strongly suggest that once you sent all your documents to be verified you wait till they have accept them and wait for their confirmation of acceptance before you deposit as If they do not accept your documents at list you have lost nothing. Simply you do not use that website.

Exactly Nickolas, 

It has happen to me so many times that it does not worth the risk. 

End of the day is your own money that you are playing with so therefore you should not have to be worried of any issues especially if you win. Some people look forward for their winnings to be in to their account but if you do not fully verify yourself prior, not only going to wait about 1 week or so to be verified also will wait for the withdraw to reach you and by verifying yourself prior you avoid all that stress and mainly you are confident that the casino is genuine.

This is a great suggestion. Anyone playing at a land based casino has to show ID before playing. Having the same practice on online casinos would surely see a drop in signups, but it's like you said; "end of the day is your own money that you are playing with". 

I used to to this years ago when playing poker. Deciding on where to play, and having everything ready before setting up shop was crucial to the money flow. Different from gambling on casinos, yeah - but it saved me a lot of hassle. Stressing re. money is just downright unhealthy.

Hopefully in the UK soon the casino will do that before anyone deposits a penny.

Thats  because some have automatic verification checks.

My understanding is that when signing up / depositing with BankID you are automatically verified.

Wish I’d of read this post before playing at Kaboo. Currently have $1550 USD and I’ve been trying for 5 days to get verified. I’ve sent around 10 emails with credit card details. 4 numbers blanked out, 6 numbers blanked out, card not signed on back so send again, We now need your bank checking account verification in order to send you the money. Just on and on and on and on. Can’t get verified no matter what I do. Don’t think i’ll ever get my money. Only deposited $100 without a bonus attached so I’ve only lost $100. I’ve set my monthly loss limit to $10 so I can’t even log in and blow the money on roulette to get this horror show over with.

Sounds like standard requests to me from previous experience, are you new to this with online casinos? Front/back of card used to deposit, ID,  bank account transaction statement(linked to where you are withdrawing to if thats the case). Good idea with the play restrictions

I’ve been playing slots and gambling machines for over 20 years. I’ve never experienced anything like what Kaboo has put me through. I’ve sent more documents and screen shots then I sent to immigration before filing for duel citizenship. I understand they need to vet players but this IMO is an attempt to frustrate a player into giving up, on cashing out, hoping the player will squander the balance. I’m currently waiting for them to verify my own bank account that wasn’t even used or is an option for a deposit method? Ive already provided evidence of my payment method, I used a MasterCard. I’ve no idea why they need screen shots of my own checking account, that is only ever gonna be used to maybe send the outstanding balance to me. I really don’t get it.

To be honest with you, Kaboo was the reason who made me post this on here but I have also had previous bad experiences with other casinos before I become proper casino player but Kaboo tried to f*ck me over so I thought to help others from that experience I had with them. I would not recommend anyone using Kaboo casino at all does not matter how much promotion gets from here because of course they will promote casinos in here because they will make money out of it but not necessarily mean s that the casino is genuine. I hope Skyliner helps you out and manages to let them give you your money but even if not like you said yourself take this as bad experience. Best of luck

After this experience with Kaboo, I’m gonna call it a day playing slots online. Just self excluded myself from everywhere online. The industry is going down hill big time IMO. Finally got my money today after a 14 day hussle. Never felt so helpless in all my life. Those b@st@rds at Kaboo are an utter joke. Take care, ✌️

I am so glad you got the money that you deserved and no mate dont create opinion for every casino just because Kaboo treated you that way. Trust me, if you do it on right way, if you fully verify yourself before any deposit is made to their website they will have no excuse to keep your money. Lets put it this way: You was unlucky enough to be dealing with Kaboo scamass w@nkers before you lern the good casinos out there. The good news is "You got your money" and the better news is "dont join casinos such as those Kaboo scamasses again. I signed to casino (METAL CASINO) that was recommended from one of the streamers and after one week I was waiting to confirm my details and verify my account I got reply back that my documents were accepted. I loged in to my casino account, went to check my profile (Of course before I deposited) and found out that two of my documents were accepted but the ID was not accepted, so please make sure you are FULLY verified before you do any deposits. I have used the same documents for every casino that I have signed and no one have found issue with my ID and for some reason Metal Casino have, to which I do not want to waste second to be begging them to accept me. Metal Casino added on my blacklist !

Recent activities have highlighted that some operators are still getting things massively wrong even when sending docs.

Some recent cases where I have been conversing with some affected players from CM.

Excluded player and Gamstop signed up with wrong DOB on Betway. Betway, rightfully, could not verify automatically due to the mismatch and asked for docs. The player sent in their correct passport thinking that the account would be frozen. Betway inexplicably passed this instead of stopping it and the player went on to lose £5k in a week. This was a clear breach of their own player verfication process and should have seen the account frozen. Betway are not refunding.

There are other cases where casinos have verified players then when it comes to withdrawal all of a sudden find the player excluded an account from ABC Casino years earlier and again refuse to pay winnings but will pay deposits back.

Some of these casinos are just plainly unethical in their practices and each case of this should be called out to the regulatory bodies as in the cases recently with Casumo and Daub Alderney. The only way to prevent this behaviour is by reporting it.

In May, for UK players, things should be fine with the new rules around pre-verification before a deposit is made. This means the casino cannot play games with withdrawals.

I had to send in copy of card (front + back, except a few numbers in the middle), a bill max 3 months old with proof of address and also ID (drivers license). Even though I registrered with Bank ID.
