Want to close accounts but have withdrawal pending verification

So with the way things are looking for uk casinos it’s not gonna be fun in future so I’m considering shutting down most of my accounts as I have so many. My current issue is that I have 2 casinos with L and L group pending verification for withdrawal. Normally I wouldn’t mind but they want my current PayPal details amongst other things even though I haven’t been able to use PayPal on there in a long time which I’m not happy about providing. I asked on live chat what would happen if I closed the accounts with these pending withdrawal and they’ve told me that I would still need to go through verification even if the account is closed. Is this correct will I have to suck it up and provide more than I want to to get my money back 

 
Probably correct although I am not 100% sure.

I would be surprised if closing an account could be a bypass for getting your money if you are in a KYC (or SoW) procedure for a pending withdrawal.

 
They will not release funds without verification surely ?    They can , and don't call me surely     🙂      I think it all depends on the Casino pal , they can make it straightforward or they can make it difficult for you.

Why are you shutting down this particular Casino ?

 
Have too many accounts so want to reduce how much I play. There withdrawals seem quite slow now they don’t take PayPal and game selection not the best. Also annoyed about them wanting PayPal details even though they don’t take PayPal anymore. Figured I’d still need to do verification which is frustrating as have to get my id renewed which means waiting on forms and then sending them off when they come In

 
Don't know how it works with the PayPal part in this case, but sounds a bit weird.

However a tip if they have the option is to set a deposit/loss limit of 1€ or whatever your currency is. As min deposit most places is 10€ it will in effect be not possible to play.
