Twitch - hosting another channel (viewers)

This morning I hosted Nickslots and at the moment of the host I had 100+ viewers. When I looked back on Nick's stream, it said I hosted him but only with 5 viewers?

Is this some kind of bug with Twitch or is my viewer count up the creek? I use Snaz to establish the number of viewers that I have (it refreshes it every 5 seconds)

It happens when i host people too mate, i wouldn't worry too much about it

Yeah I believe it's a Twitch issue aswell

Thanks both for the replies.

At least I know that the viewer count that I display on the stream is accurate then.

It is a tad embarrassing though to host with what appears to be a handful of viewers only.
