Slotty vegas not paying because I moved

Slotty vegas is not going to pay my winnings because, when I made the account. I lived in Portugal.

Recently I moved and asked chat to fix my address. Now they are saying because I moved and because players in portugal are not allowed to play, they will not pay any winnings. However, I never placed a bet in Portugal and notified them of my change of address.

Who knows a lawyer ?

They should be able to change your address and pay out your winnings. I've moved to Malta and had no issues with casinos changing the address. On some casinos I had to create a new account.

You would think so. But I just spoke with the verification team and he notified me that my account is blocked and all winning are void. He did confirm that I did not place a bet from Portugal and that I had notified chat about me moving and I also tried myself to change the address but the only thing I couldnt change was the country. So I told chat and they didnt want to help. Now 5 days later with no answers until now. And the answer was a simple go fuck yourself we will take the 47k

If you lived in a restricted country when you *opened* the account, then they have the right to confiscate your winnings as per their T&C. It doesn't matter if you never logged in or placed a bet, you still infringed the rules upon opening the player account.

How can they then allow this account to exist in the first place. They accepted my registration when it happened, and would allow me to play in Portugal if Portugal would allow it. The T&C. I am in "breach" of is the following, according to them

This has put you in breach of our T&C 5.3 which states the below:"The account holder confirms that all information contained in the registration form submitted to Slotty Vegas is true, accurate, and complete. The account holder also confirms that the name the Casino account has been opened under also corresponds to the name(s) appearing on any payment method used for the deposits and payments of gains. Slotty Vegas reserves the right to cancel your user agreement if any of the information provided to Slotty Vegas were found to be inaccurate or incomplete. It is the user’s responsibility to inform us immediately of any changes to the user’s personal information.

They say I it is due to inconsistency in my address.

I have a archived copy of Slotty Vegas T&C on a weekly basis since 2014. If you can provide me with the date you signed-up to Slotty Vegas, I can check if Portugal was on the restricted list.

Technically you cannot sign up from Portugal, if you use correct information during the registration process

I resided in Portugal but was never a resident. Since its EEA I didnt have to become a resident. In any case, they didnt claim this to be the reason for closing my account and not paying it. Also I know they can do what ever they want and I cant do shit. I know I did nothing wrong, they see I hit a massive win and find any excuse to not pay it. It seems like many companies simply operate like this. I told them about my move the same day as I started playing on this account, if it was a problem they could have said it right away. It also says in their T&C. that you should notify them about changing address and I did so. They will just do what ever they want how ever they want to do it. Thats the world we live in boys'n'girls

If you don't get any winnings I hope you can get any deposits you made back.  They shouldn't keep any of that whilst saying you can't have anything you win.

Sorry to threadjack. This mob are an absolutely disgraceful bunch and according to posts on CM linked to a dodgy Eastern European's Vulkanbet. There is a lack of transparency apparently.

I also know they have a current issue with an excluded player from Betat being able to open an account and lost thousands on SV, was also on Gamstop. They are hiding behind the change from NRR to Max Ent Ltd.

They have been reported to the UKGC for that and several other things.

Agree here. Deposits returned is the bare minimum but from what I know I wouldn't hold my breath.

Check the MGA licence they hold. Some terms are not enforceable.

If you made a deposit while outside of the restricted country and played with that despoit while outside the restricted country, it should not matter where you live now. They are just doing everything they can not to pay you: Typical from online casinos. Contact the relevant Gambling Authorities and if need be, sue them.

Edit: I just read that you made an account while living in Portugal. I wonder what kind of crappy sign-up system they have to allow users from restricted areas to sign up. Unless, of course, you lied about your location while signing up.
