LeoVegas bought Casino Grounds thread removed!

oh oh, just looking out my tin hat - this could be fun :)

I have £50 this thread is removed too - who's taking it? :)

The OP linked to an article elsewhere so how can it be censoring that CG is owned by Leovegas?

And there are the words "problem gambler" again. Like there are no responsible gamblers in existence?

So making money out of gamblers..... they do and successfully and good luck to them (and the casino).

@Slotplayer Surely you are aware that problem gambling is comparable to drinking problem or drug abuse.

Who are the biggest audience for casinos and out of who are casinos worldwide making most money out of? Yes, you got it right, out of problem gamblers, who never quit even if the odds are against them.

If Casino Grounds would've been what it was supposed to be; a forum and community for gamblers to discuss their achievements and problems then I wouldn't see any problem here. But turning this site into lucrative business for few main streamers in all silence is absolutely disgusting. Essentialy they are promoting casinos that are paying them money, and this without any doubt is giving unrealistic expectations to the audience who are watching the streams or youtube videos.

For example I could've never expected this from Kim or Nick, they seemed like they really cared for problem gamblers, but it was just a charade.
Their main purpose was and is to make money, no matter the consequences.

@Miiw

There is a long topic about streaming and problem gambling at the bottom of the forum where I (and others) have extensively contributed.

No point duplicating the points I made there in this topic as I will be going over old ground.

@Slotplayer You are still missing the point. If the streams would be free and independent out of any casinos influence then it would be fine. Now some of the biggest streamers are obviously making money out of promoting the casinos and hence the streams aren't giving realistic view on the gruesome world of gambling. If you lose in real life, you won't get your money back the next day with a huge win or be able to just keep on depositing with an endless wallet. This is only done by those, who are payed to play on the streams by the casinos they are promoting.

They are not given money by the casino to play with.

Their job is being an affiliate and that is how they earn their bread. No difference than me earning my bread working for my boss and you earning a living from your boss. You need to keep the affiliate earnings separate from the gambling spent as the affiliate earnings are their wages. It is akin to saying that your boss is paying  for your gambling which he isn't.

The streamers only advantage is that they get regular deposit match bonuses so they have extended play time.

The admin's are essentially trying to disguise the fact, that this site is now LeoGrounds.

censoring anything that might potentially hurt the LeoGrounds income or profits.

When it was independent, you could, up to a point, trust what it was saying.. now that the ex-owners have taken the silver,

the site, or its speakers, cannot now be trusted. The other day, on a streamers biggest wins youtube, someone admitted to having a problem gambling

the Leogrounds youtube admin then gave this response..

Actually I have just merged the thread with the other topic covering the same news (title was LeoVegas bought Casinogrounds for €300000). After I merged both topics, the "LeoVegas bought CG" thread prevailed causing the "Leovegas invests in Casinogrounds" being deleted.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I have fixed the thread now and I do apologize for mistake on my end. The thread can be located here:

https://casinogrounds.com/forum/topic/7095-leovegas-invests-in-casinogrounds/

I apologize once again, there is no point of us removing threads like these as this is an open forum and we value everyones opinion.
