GAMSTOP, the national online self-exclusion scheme, is now live for registrations. There is also a free helpline open from 8AM to midnight for registration issues and extensions of existing exclusions: 0800 138 6518

You can exclude for a period of 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. Whilst the majority of UK operators have joined the scheme, the remaining are in the process of participating and by the end of 2018 it will be compulsory under UKGC rules.

This is a private limited Company and not a charity?
Who has audited them?
Where is the link to the Gambling Commission?
Who is paying for the Directors and their cost?

I am more than happy to start advertising this service but need to be confident what this is all about. I genuinely thought this was going to be run by the Gambling Commission or one of the charities such as Gamcare.

Registered this morning at 11:30am after Nick mentioned it and by 1pm it was active tried to log in to all my gambling sites including all the Major ones and my account as I can see so far has been blocked on everyone ??

 
Just a little follow up To my previous post I’ve recieved a few emails of the casino sites I did use confirming my choice to self exclude so it looks like it’s working 100% so far, every site I’ve tried to sign into (just to check) has my account on block! I can see this being a huge move in helping problem gamblers stop
