Casinogrounds streamers promoting CURACAO casinos

Casinogrounds where founded on the idea of creating a community for the players, where players could be safe and confident in finding the best offers out there.

Lately there have been streamers assosiated with CG promoting soo called Curasoe licenced casinoes. Streamers is of course in their rights to do soo. They also have the rights to negosiate their own terms and conditions with thoose casinoes. But what i find disturbing is that they somehow forget to tell viuwers that particular important info that in fact they have special conditions that normally dont apply to regular players.

Excample is the CBET casino where tc clearly state max cashout per week 2,5k euro/dollar or 5k per month. WHO in their right mind would enter such casino, perhaps deposit thousands of euro and then to find out the winnings cant be withdrawn instant?

it seems today its all about getting signups no matter what the cost, in this case the cost is pushed towards the new player.

Is this what CG has become to be assosiated with?

for those steamers still sticking to promoting sound and safe casinoes, ur doing a great job, i love to watch casinostreams. i wish u well

 
Oooooooooooh nice topic. And yes, i have to agree alot. Never really understood why Roseyreels is still on here - she been called out for those practices a million times. Such a shame and slightly gives the feel that its all about the money on CG, even though alot of people on here are good guys.

 
I agree in 50 %but there is another 50 %that disagree with you. Here is why. Cg changed a bit yes but is there anything wrong with fact that streamers can make money by doing. They love to do which is gambling? No it's not. Nobody makes you sign up thru the streamers link. Besides online casino streaming saved for sure a lot lives, families cos it helps a lot when you have gambling problem and you can watch your favourite streamer loosing thousands of pounds euro etc instead of you keep loosing your own money.plus whatever casino they promoting you always have read terms and conditions before depositing any money at any site especially when playing with deposit bonus.and once again streamers promoting casino, casinos getting known popular getting more customers which means money so would you promote them for free?????no I don't think so. But yes curacao casino are not the best to promote but it doesn't mean they all the worst in the world.

Stop being naive. This is the biggest bollocks people keep saying. It won't help, if your an addict you should avoid anything casino related if you want to better yourself as you will never get rid of an addiction. If you watch streams you will eventually be triggered again. People that say otherwise clearly have no idea what there talking about. All official studies, neurologists and psychologist speak against this yet these people know it better? For evey 1 person that is able to control himself (meaning he has not reached a certain threshold) another 5 will waste there live because there triggered by some 5 or 10000x win.

Live streaming OK but posting win video's on youtube channels etc should just be banned in my oppinion.

Streamers promoting non legit casino's should be banned from GC period. A streamer that deliberatly posts a non legit licensed casino has no place in a community that promotes to be there for the players. Actions speak louder then words. Ban the *****!

I agree with you too mate you right too. Gambling is the serious matter and not many can handle it properly.thats why CG is here too thou they are here to help too if someone seek help or is completly lost with his gambling. As many people be here there be as many opinions on that topic. About curacao casinos some people have no choice really to play on those site due to location like me for example. But cos of this I know which curacao casinos I can trust even if there is not many even just a few

Hello there. I will now talk to you as an advisor. Do you know why most of the casinos choose to get licenced by Curacao instead of Malta etc? It's because of money. MGA licence costs alot. For example: compliance contribution for financial year. 

I will fully agree with you about streamers promoting rogue casinos. But when the commission is 45-50% is hard to say no to that. That's the reason you will see them promoting 20-30 casinos with no background.

But are all casinos rogue because of the Curacao licence? Absolutely not. Do I have proofs? Yes i do.

The biggest reason for anyone to avoid a Curacao licensed casino should be a tax-related one. 

A withdraw limit isn't something that has anything to do with a license, there are plenty of MGA licensed casinos that have such a thing. Not going to name them for any sort of name recognition but I can think of a few easily.

I'd advise a normal player to not join a Curacao licensed casino because if you hit big, you might get a visit from the tax man. Other than that, you'd be incredibly naïve to think a MGA licensed casino wouldn't f**k you over in a heart beat if given the slightest opportunity, and that they'd be any more or less committed to paying than some of the longwithstanding Curacao ones.

 
MGA Curacao pretty much as worthles as each other the only licence worth any salt is one set up by the government in the country you live in.

 
I see the main points the writer is pointing out.

I also agree that it's a streamers rights to promote who they please.

This topic will likely always be debated on.

But provided the streamer points out the main parts of the tncs then the decision will be that of the sign up(s)

At the end of the day. The streamer is a gambler and thier two main objectives are to gamble and make money .

However some like nickslots, and others do have the best interests of the player(s) in mind also.

You can voice your opinion as much as you please but is your point to get those streamers removed from the forum or get them to stop promoting who you think is not fit in your view.

Just seems like entitlement to me really, as you feel people aren't meeting your expectations.

Personally I think it's a great exercise for a person's self control to have a big win and only get so much per week/month without cancelling the withdrawal. On the other hand it's those scumbag bag casinos that have no intention of paying thier players that need destroying entirely.

As do those affiliate programs that come up with BS excuses not to pay thier affiliates or prolong them for months.

@sjoroverenI cannot talk on behalf of streamers but i can definetely talk as an experienced individual. Curacao licenced casinos are not rogue at all. Some of them might be. Some of them are trustworthy. 

I will give you an example. A casino that wants to be get an mga licence, applys it and awaits for its submission to get verified. 

Now keep in mind,(because few know it) there are 2 types of mga licence. Gaming and critical.

Anyway, casino has to pay compliance contribution depending on which type is on. (4 types) Top gives 500.000euros but never more.

Then we got the gaming tax which is paid every month depending on gaming revenue. 

Then we got the licence fee. 

All of this is not cheap.

On the other hand you have curacao licence 

Have you wondered why casinos go for this licence?

I will tell you why. First its a remote gambling licence. You bypass the bureaucratic procedures that others have.  Also its cheap.

How cheap? It costs around 15.000 euros per year

incorporationss and management costs around 25-35.000 euros per year

Licence fee is around 9.000euros 

And here is the trick. Curacao got 0% tax on foreign transactions. 6% applies on invoices

So this is the reason why many casinos get the curacao licence. Its not ROGUE its just business.

There are casinos with mga licence that you have to wait weeks to get your money. Other casinos ask for SOW and additional documents that make it harder for a player to withdraw. But there are also legit online casinos with mga licence and fast as well. But not many.

About curacao licenced casinos they give high priority to the money processor. They are very fast. And they dont ask for SOW cause it doesnt apply to them. There are a lot of curacao licenced casinos that are very trustworthy than you can think. With very simple bonus terms. Just because a streamer had a good revenue deal with a casino that happens to have misleading bonus terms, its on the streamer's obligation to say it to the viewers. There are 2 reasons why he didnt. Either he forgot about it or didnt know it either greed.

You're probably right about not ALL Curaçao being rouge, but they have bad rep.
Not all MGA casinos are great either. Some of them just really want to fuck you over so.. it's a hit and miss with this almost non-regulated online casino stuff :D
