So tried to make a deposit and got this come up. Anybody had this before or is this a recent thing from the UKGC

Heard alot of casinos are adding deposit limits without telling the customer, happened to nick a load of weeks ago, I assume it's the same thing 🙂

 
Ok thanks guys look like ukgc is gonna suck out what little fun is left in gambling. 

@Geordiemag1how obtrusive was the questionnaire was it like a full blown SOW or just them asking questions about income

How much I get paid, if I had savings, how often I gamble if I thought i had an addiction if I ever borrowed money took out a loan  to gamble etc it wasn't bad really they replied within a few hours then my account was unrestricted they said if I want to gamble more I have to send them documents to support my request. Tbf I dont normally bet that much on there so I cant complain about the limit.

 
So I finally got a response asking what I needed to send off document wise. If it goes like this I’ll probably end up just cutting down or giving up gambling don’t mind some SOW but not interested in giving out this much private information. Had another site ask for SOW who also want my PayPal information despite the fact it doesn’t take PayPal anymore so doubt I’ll be giving them that

I just been hit by this from Rizk. Asking for ridiculous levels of intrusive, personal and sensitive information for SoW. 6 months bank statements, all incomming out goings, work contracts, payslips etc etc. 

Absolutely insane they are asking for this level of stuff, I'm happy to send ID, a bill of some kind, or even a payslip but its just going overboard, (even when I have only a 50£ monthly deposit limit set). 

Luckily I hadn't even made a deposit, otherwise I hear horror stories of them holding funds for random. 

 
This new rule is gonna save people so much money. Long gone the days of doing your balls in on slots trying to hit that massive win that never comes
