Design and Symbols

As already mentioned, Super 7s is really and truly a classic fruity slot all the way from the reel set to the symbols you will be seeing on the reels. The background of the slot has been kept plain and simple, which is typical for this kind of slots. It looks as though the reel set has been placed in front of a window that has been rained on as you can see small drops of water on the screen. 

The symbols of the game are, of course, no big surprise, they are made up of a whole bunch of different fruits and berries. The quality of the graphics here is what shows that this is a slot from 2020, seeing that the symbols themselves look much better than what they would in a slot from 10 or even 5 years ago. There are quite a couple of symbols appearing on the reels, with a total of seven different standard symbols and one special symbol. You will be seeing cherries, plums, pears, grapes, red 7s, oranges and bells, all of them in a nice and shiny looking design.

There is just one special symbol in the game, being the scatter symbol which will allow you to win up to 250x your total bet for five of a kind. A golden star with the word “scatter” written across it represents the scatter symbol.

Special Features

This section will be a short one as there is only one feature going on in the slot. This is, of course, the scatter symbol that is in the form of a star. Even though it is the standard for classic slots not to have many special features, it would have been nice to see one more feature here seeing it is a modernized classic slot.

Scatter symbol

The one feature of Super 7s slot involves the scatter symbol of the game. Here you will be looking out for the golden star symbol with the word “scatter” written across it, as this will result in wins of up to 250x your bet for five of a kind. Scatters will pay in any position, meaning it will create winning lines no matter where on the reels it will land. For 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols, you will be rewarded with 10x, 50x and 250x your total bet in that order.

Lucky 7s

Another symbol to look out for is the lucky 7, which is the symbol that can give you the biggest wins of the game. For five of a kind, you could land up to 1 000x your total bet.

Our Thoughts on Super 7s

Truth be told, Super 7s is exactly the kind of slot we expected it to be. It does what it is expected from a classic fruit slot and nothing more, which even though it is as expected, still ends up disappointing us. Pragmatic Play delivers a pretty generic slot with not much innovation in the design, the gameplay, features or any other parts of the slot.

This is definitely the kind of slot that will become popular amongst a specific type of player, but aside from that, we can't exactly say we are impressed. With just one special feature and maximum pay of 1 000x your total bet, the slot falls a little short of our expectations. This is the kind of slot that will be loved or hated as soon as the first spin has been played.
