How to win big in Reef Raider – Multiplier feature

The Multiplier feature is the secret to getting the biggest wins of the game. Simply land a multiplier symbol adjacent to a winning cluster and you will trigger the feature. This can be vertically or horizontally. The payout will then be boosted by the amount shown, with multipliers than can be worth x2, x3, x5 or x50.

Special Features

  • Avalanche feature
  • Treasure Trail features
  • Free Spins feature

Starting with the Avalanche feature, it will be triggered when a winning cluster is made, with the symbols part of the cluster being blasted off the reels and new ones falling into place. The process will be repeated over and over again until no new winning clusters are formed. With each successive avalanche, you will also be charging a Treasure Trail meter that can bring features into play.

Next up is the Treasure Trail feature which is triggered when you land 3 or more wins in a row during the main game. Depending on how many Avalanche Wins you land in a row, one of four different modifiers will be triggered.

  • Anchor Drop – 1, 2 or 3 low-value symbols are randomly selected and removed from the reel set followed by a new avalanche.
  • Random Wilds – between 4 and 8 Coin Wilds are added to the grid. These substitute for everything with the exception of the multiplier symbol.
  • Mystery Chest – Mystery Symbols will replace between 2 and 16 low and medium valued symbols, transforming these into the same symbol for a new payout.
  • Cannon Blast – 1 symbol is removed and all the low and medium valued symbols on that row and column will be removed with a new avalanche following.

Finally, you have the Free Spins feature, which is triggered when all 15 positions on the Treasure Trail Meter are charged. You will then go on to play a minimum of 9 free spins with an extra 2 free spins being added for every 3 charged bars on the Treasure Trail on the triggering spin.

During the feature, a Mystery Overlay will be active, with 1 mystery symbol being placed on the central position on the reel set and 4 more added vertically or horizontally. Mystery symbols will then transform into the same matching symbol with every free spin. You will be able to add even more Mystery Symbols to this cluster throughout the feature, with these being locked in place and remain active for the remainder of the free spins

Look and Feel of Reef Raider

Reef Raider Paylines

Reef Raider has been created with a pretty unique mix of a pirate theme and an underwater theme. NetEnt has gone for a cartoonish style to it, meaning you will be seeing plenty of colours and clear graphics. In the background you will be seeing plenty of corals and aquatic life, including the crab pirate who is crawling around on the sand, probably looking out for treasures just as much as you will be.

Reef Raider Paytable

The reels hold a total of 4 low-value symbols, represented by different types of shells in various bright colours. The high-value symbols are instead represented by gems in plenty of colours and shapes, the red jewel being of the highest value.
