When it comes to design, this is fairly standard Ancient Egyptian slot fare here to be honest. In fact there is more than a little similarity between this slot and Pragmatic’s ‘Book clone’ from October last year, Ancient Egypt Classic.
Both play on a standard 5x3 reel set with deep purple reels and both are based inside a pyramid tomb with flaming torches either side of the game board flanked by stone pillars decorated in hieroglyphs. The soundtrack is also very typical of any slot of this ilk.
Low value symbols are represented by 10-A royals. The 5 high value symbols take the forms of the ancient Egyptian deities; Anubis (dog), Horus (falcon), Bastet (cat), Hathor (cow), and the Pharaoh Tutankhamen.

Energy Spins

Our Thoughts on Egyptian Fortunes
This is a pretty lazy slot from Pragmatic Play in all honesty. There really is nothing new here at all and what there is isn’t particularly enticing. Everything about it is generic and a little tired. If it came with a potential big pay-off then that would be one thing – but with a maximum win of just a little over 300x the bet size that simply isn’t the case.
The features are lackluster to say the least; the Energy Spins come with no additional perks – just 3 standard re spins, and with only 6 free spins and no opportunity to re-trigger the bonus round is a real let down. Sure, you can of course get lucky with the free spins and hit a biggish win every now and again but it’s just so tedious.
