- Wild Red 7’s
Wild Red 7’s
This isn’t really much of a feature; in fact, it is less of a feature than any standard wild you’ll find on virtually any slot. The Wild Red 7 only acts as a wild alongside one symbol, the plain Red 7.
Design & Symbols
As this game has been replicated from the land-based classic 7’s game there wasn’t ever going to be a lot Blueprint could do to update the look and feel of the game, and my guess is they didn’t want to. They just wanted some nice, simple, classic-looking retro slots to add to their portfolio. As such the design is nothing to write home about. It could be recreated by any high school student with a bit of a flair for drawing. A static background of red, orange, and purple flames has been added to surround the gameboard.
The board itself is framed in a semi-cartoon-like blood-red border which has the appearance of being on fire. The equally fiery logo sits above the middle reels on the flame border. The reels are white and are filled with classic fruit machine symbols. There is no soundtrack, just the sorts of beeps and bleeps you hear walking through the slots section of any Las Vegas casino.
Low value symbols are cherries, lemons, oranges, and plums. Medium value symbols are black bars, watermelons, bells, and gold stars. High value symbols are red 7’s and wild red 7’s.
Our Thoughts on 7’s Deluxe
There have been a lot of these super-retro games released of late it would seem, and it’s getting harder and harder to say anything about them to possibly fill an entire review. This would probably appear to the mega-grinders who sit for hours on end feeding quarters into the banks of slots at a land-based casino. Either that or a very casual punter who hasn’t got the time to work out what’s going on with a modern-day slot. To me though? Boring. Boring. Boring
