50 Red Hot Burning Clover Link by Greentube released on 27.10.2020 is a 5-reel & 3-row online slot with 50 paylines and a 95.70% RTP. This is a Irish/Fruit-themed game. 50 Red Hot Burning Clover Link can be played on all devices from €0.5 to €50 per spin and is considered a high volatility game.
- High Volatility Classic Fruity Action
- Potentially Huge Progressive Jackpots
- 2 Scatter Symbols
In addition to their recent classic fruity slot, 25 Red Hot Burning (Clover Link), Greentube have also added a 50 payline version, imaginatively titled ’50 Red Hot Burning (Clover Link). If you’re familiar with the 25 payline version, simply double the paylines and the potential prizes and you can pretty much dispense with this review. For those who aren’t, however, this game was initially only available in land-based casinos before making the transition online. In terms of features, there’s a little something for everyone. As well as a respins feature with cash wins and 2 progressive jackpots, there are two scatter symbol payouts, expanding wilds and (territory allowing) a gamble feature.
Where to play
How to Win Big in 50 Red Hot Burning (Clover Link) – Clover Feature (respins)
The Clover Feature is triggered by landing at least 5 clover symbols in a base game spin. Each clover symbol has either a cash value attached, or one of the 2 jackpots (Major and Grand). 3 respins are awarded and a ‘hold and spin’ mechanic keeps all clover symbols held on the reels while the other symbols spin. Respins continue until the board is full or 3 spins pass with no clover landing. Fill the board with clovers and the cash values are totalled and doubled for your feature win. If there 1 or 2 Jackpot symbols on the board as it fills, these convert to cash wins.
The two progressive jackpots pay out when 3 of their respective jackpot clovers land. In this event the jackpot is paid out immediately and the bonus round ends. As these jackpots are progressive and also linked to other Greentube games (hence the Clover Link part of the game title) then they can reach substantial sums in the tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars. It’s worth noting that regardless of which stake you choose to play (stakes go from €0.50 to €50 a spin) the jackpot payouts are the same. It’s also worth noting, however, that the higher you play, the better your odds of scooping a jackpot.
As well as the jackpot clovers, there are also ‘mini bonus’ and ‘minor bonus’ clover symbols which pay out 2x and 10x the bet size, respectively. All other, regular clover symbols are worth between 1x and 100x the bet size.
- Expanding Wilds
- Mystery Star Feature
- Dollar Scatter Symbol
Gold Bar wilds are in play on reels 2, 3, and 4 of this 5 reel game. Upon landing the wild expands to cover the entire reel, thus increasing the chances of a big win.
The Mystery Star feature is triggered by landing the Bonus Star scatter symbol anywhere on reels 1, 3, and 5. When triggered you must pick one of the three stars to reveal a win of either 25x, 50x, or 75x your bet size.
There is also a Dollar Scatter Symbol. Although landing these scatters does not trigger any feature, it is the highest value symbol on the board, with 5 landing in any position awarding 100x the bet size.
Where applicable a gamble feature may be available for players to gamble, on a double or nothing basis, wins of up to £2,500.
Look and Feel of 50 Red Hot Burning (Clover Link)
50 Red Hot Burning looks very much like a slot which has made the transition from land-based casinos, i.e. a fairly straightforward design and graphics with a classic rather than contemporary feel.
- The Irish theme is represented by lashings of green throughout, the four-leaf clovers (of course), and the jaunty Irish ditty which accompanies the play. Other than the clovers, however, the remainder of the regular symbols are the usual fruits associated with a classic slot, along with the high paying red 7. The 7 is the highest paying regular symbol, awarding 30x the bet size for a full payline.
The paytable and combination values can be seen below.
Although highly volatile, the additional bonus features give this game advantage over many of the genres. Also, (depending on the operators chosen RTP setting), the default RTP setting of 95.7% is quite high for a game which takes 0.95% of every bet towards the progressive jackpots.
High variance fans of a certain type should enjoy this game, as should progressive jackpot hunters. It’s not for everyone, but for the market, it’s aimed at, it is well worth a punt.
