New Slot: Prissy Princess (Play'n GO)
A first look at another new and exclusive slot. Prissy Princess is the second slot we bring to you in the form of pre release review articles. After IGT’s Gypsy Moon, it’s time to assess this upcoming title from Play'n GO. Prissy Princess is set to be launched in the upcoming months of 2017 and based on the provider’s reputation, the new slot will definitely become a big hit among players. When the game becomes available you will certainly find it on most major online casinos.
Prissy Princess is a 5 reels and 20 paylines slot which will be available on desktop, tablet as well as most other mobile devices. The min and max bets players can lay – range from 0.20 to 100, depending on the currency played. The game has a medieval theme with knights in shining armor, dragons and damsels in distress. Two tall towers stand on each side of the reels. A huge castle looms on the background. There are also 2 bar meters standing on the the top of the screen. One of them is in the form of a treasure chest with with 5 locks on it. The second one is a banner holder with 3 empty spots.
All symbols on the reels are theme related. The high value symbols feature 3 knights in full armor. The lower value symbols are represented by helmet, crossed swords, shield, morning stars, chest plate, and a crest. The game has 3 scatter symbols each in the form of a banner (flag) with a certain color. There is the purple scatter with a golden bear on top which only lands on reel 1. The second scatter is green with a golden wolf on top and only lands on reel 3. The last scatter is blue and has a golden lion on top, this scatter only lands on reel 5. The wild symbol is the princess herself and it substitutes for all other symbols except the scatters.
The Crumbling Towers feature is initiated at the end of each winning spin. Any reel that contained a position that is part of a winning combination will collapse and re-spin while all other reels are held. This feature can be re-triggered up to a maximum of 4 times, or until no winning payline combinations occur.
As mentioned, a bar meter in the form of a chest hangs on the top left part of the screen. The chest is locked with 5 locks. For every consecutive win on of the locks will open. If the player manages to get 5 consecutive wins a random multiplier will be awarded. The award can be either a random multiplier of the total bet, or a random multiplier of the total win!
Dragon Pride Feature
This feature is triggered every time the player lands all 3 knights on 1 reel. A dragon will appear on that reel making it a wild reel. Landing 3 knights on multiple reels will mean more wild reels. The dragon staked wild substitutes for all symbols except the scatters.
This is a random feature which can be triggered during a non winning spin. A dragon will fly over the screen and shoot fire on random symbols. The symbols shot by the dragon will become wilds. The dragon can shoot and turn up to 3 symbols into wilds.
This is the main bonus and is triggered by collecting all 3 scatter symbols during one payed spin. However thanks to the Crumbling Towers feature the player can gather the scatters from in multiple respins. So they don’t necessarily need to land on the reels at the same time. When all 3 scatters have been gathered on the meter bar at the top right corner of the screen, the Tournament feature will begin. The Tournament is basically a picking game. The 3 knights and the dragon will have multiple competitions and before every competition the payer will have to choose his champion. A different champion can be chooses for each round. The goal is for your champion to reach the final and win. The more rounds you win the bigger the prize.
Prissy Princess is a great game with tons of fun features to keep players interested. This however can be its biggest drawback as the many features make it look complicated at first sight. However once you get to play the slot for a while you can see its appeal as well as the big win potential. An official RTP rate as not yet been announced by Play’n Go. Same goes for the volatility, even though by trying the slot we could guess that it revolves around the medium range.
