Top Independence Day Slots
This week’s compilation video is all about the good old U.S of A in celebration of tomorrow’s American Independence Day. On July 4th 1776 the Continental Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies were no longer subject to the monarch of Britain. Each year on July 4th citizens of the United States enjoys a federal holiday to commemorate this Declaration of Independence. So we’ve trawled our archives to find a bunch of big wins played exclusively on slots with some kind of USA theme. Happy Independence day y’all!
Clip 1: SuperSmask – Golden Gate (Merkur Gaming)
Our first Stateside themed slot is Merkur Gaming’s 2015 effort, Golden Gate played by SuperSmask for 20SEK (€2) a spin. Golden Gate is a boring slot, even by Merkur’s standards with no features to speak of, but it does pay well as SuperSmask finds out here. Twice in a matter of minutes the CasinoGrounds streamer lands three cable cars (the game’s scatter symbol), which pay out either 100x, 200x, 500x, or 1000x the bet size. On the first occasion he hits 200x followed by a 100x 2 minutes later. Not bad for a couple of base game spins!
Clip 2: Extol88 – Fort Brave (Bally Wuff)
Fort Brave is an American Civil War themed slot from Bally Wuff released back in the summer of 2016. This clip by Extol88 shows another big base game win. Playing at €0.40 a spin, Extol88 is playing all 50 pay lines (this slot gives you the option to play 25 or 50 line versions) on the 5×4 slot when the Union Soldier (the top paying symbol) lands stacked on the first four reels. Despite not landing a single Union Soldier on the 5th reel, the win still adds up to €253, that’s equivalent to 632.5x his bet size.
Clip 3: HuggeHug – Chicago (Novomatic)
Our next video shows CasinoGrounds streamer HuggeHug trying his luck at Novomatic’s prohibition era slot, Chicago. Playing at 10kr (€1) a spin, HuggeHug triggers 12 free spins. During the free spins round in Chicago any win can be multiplied by between 1x – 10x and HuggeHug looks on his way to a reasonable 100x or so win as not only retriggers 12 more free spins but he also he hits a number of low-medium wins. However, a decent free spins round turns into a HUGE free spins round when he lands a full line of one of the highest paying mobster symbols – and then hits a 10x win multiplier. With the line alone worth 100x his stake, the multiplier makes it a 1,000x win. In total HuggeHug’s bonus round earned him kr 11,137.50 (1,137x win).
Clip 4: HockeyManiak – Route 777 (ELK Studios)
Route 777 is the mythical and mysterious road dreamt up by ELK Studios which leads from New York to the West Coast, and it is also the name of their November 2017 slot. In this video, HockeyManiak is playing for €0.40 a spin when he lands 5 Overtake Respins alongside a 35x win with Blue 7’s. Overtake Respins occur when the first two reels land identical symbols. They then remain together, moving down one step each respin while the third reels spins freely. During the 5 respins HockeyManiak manages to land the bonus game as well as a trip to the Bonus Wheel where he earns 100x. All told the original Overtake Respins earned HockeyManiak €57.60, or 144x the original bet size.
Clip 5: CasinoReggie – Indian Spirit (Novomatic)
Delving into a little early American history our next clip has a Native American theme via Novomatic’s 2005 release, Indian Spirit. This clip stars CasinoGrounds favourite CasinoReggie trying his luck playing for €0.80 a spin when he triggers 10 free spins. Reggie doesn’t have to wait long for the spins to pay dividends when his second free spin rolls in fully stacked wilds on reels 1 and 3, as well as 2 wilds a piece on reels 2 and 4. A fully stacked Indian Chief on reel 5 completes the picture. The Chief is the highest paying symbol, worth 50x the bet size for five in a row. All told the combinations for this spin alone are worth €523.20 (654x the stake). At the conclusion of the 10 free spins CasinoReggie has earned €535.60 (670x the stake)
Clip 6: Rex Borgersen – Mystic Dreams (Microgaming)
We’re sticking to the Native American theme for clip number 6 as Rex Borgersen takes on Microgaming’s May 2013 release, Mystic Gaming. Playing for $7.50 a spin Rex triggers 10 free spins by landing three scatter symbols (well, in fact he lands 1 scatter and two wilds as Mystic Dreams is a rare slot in which the wild even substitutes for the scatter symbol!). As well as securing him the free spins, the game’s wild symbol also contributes greatly to Rex’s eventual big win. During the free spins round wilds landing on reels 2, 3, or 4 which contribute to a win add win multipliers of 2x, 3x, and 4x respectively. On his 6th spin, Rex makes a full payline of wolves, one of the four high paying symbols. He is aided in this effort with wilds on reels 2 and 4. As wild multipliers also multiplier with each other Rex’s win is given and 8x multiplier, resulting in a win of $2,300 (287.5x the stake). In total his 10 free spins award $2,445 (326x win).
Clip 7: SuperSmask – Buffalo Rising Megaways™ (Blueprint Gaming)
SuperSmask makes his second appearance of the compilation in our 8th clip playing a Megaways™ favourite from Blueprint Gaming, Buffalo Rising. Gambling 8kr (€0.80) a spin, SuperSmask spends 800kr (€80) to buy straight into the free spins bonus round at 100x the bet size. Rather than take one of the set combinations of free spins/win multipliers on offer, our hero lets fate decide and opts for the mystery option. It turns out to be a good choice as he is awarded the maximum possible 15 free spins starting with a 10x multiplier. SuperSmask’s luck continues throughout the bonus round as reaction after reaction build his win continually whilst also adding a 1x win multiplier with each successful combo. His luck even goes as far as to reward him with a 5 free spin retrigger on his very last spin. By the end of the bonus round the multiplier is up to a massive 42x and his combined win from an €0.80 stake spin ended at kr 23,032 (€2,302), a huge 2,879x the bet size. According to a flabbergasted SuperSmask, this was in fact his biggest win ever!
Clip 8: JimboCasino – Dead or Alive 2 (NetEnt)
We couldn’t wrap up this compilation without a slot featuring one of the most iconic historical periods in North American history – the good old Wild West. This clip comes from NetEnt’s April 2019 powerhouse of a slot, Dead or Alive 2, with UK streamer JimboCasino in the thick of the action. It turns out this session wasn’t even being streamed as Jimbo settled down to play a little whilst also watching the soccer on TV. However, when he earned 5 extra spins at High Noon Saloon on a board stacked with wilds he decided to start recording. Playing at £0.90 a spin JimboCasino has already won over £2,500 before we join the action. He also has 2x multipliers on reels 1 and 2 as well as a full reel of 3x multipliers on reel 4 and a single wild on the remaining 2 reels. Cue a wealth of mega wins resulting in a huge £13,639.50 payday – a 15,154x win.
