Motörhead is the latest installment from NetEnt’s Rocks series. After Guns N Roses and the Jimi Hendrix slot, NetEnt closes this trilogy with a slot based on one of the most popular rock and roll bands of all time.
Lemmy Kilmister and company come to life in a game that features astonishing graphics, great design and of course an amazing soundtrack with the best hits from the band. Motörhead is scheduled to be released on the 22nd of September 2016.
The game, which will be available on all devices, has 5 reels and 76 paylines. The first two reels have 3 rows, the second two have 4 rows and the final reel has 5 rows. The setting resembles a live concert with guitars, drums, amplifiers and spotlights lining the background. The symbols on the reels are also associated with the hard rock and metal zhanara and feature a selection of 4-leafed clovers, cherries, horseshoes, bells, lucky 7s and stars. The wild symbol is represented by an Ace of spades, a nod to the band’s most well known song. The scatter is the logo of the band with the words scatter written on top and bottom.
The free spin feature in Motörhead video slot feature will be triggered by landing three or more scatter symbols on reels 3, 4 and 5. This will award 10 free spins (which unfortunately cannot be retriggered). Another feature in Motörhead is the Mystery Reel which enables one or more reels to become Mystery reels. This happens on every spin both on the base game and free spins feature and simply means that the Mystery reels each will transform to one specific symbol. (except for scatter). Lastly, the bomber feature is a feature that can be activated randomly on a spin in the main game. A number of bombs, represented by the band’s logo, will appear on the reels and then create at least 10 overlay mystery symbols. Each bomb consists of a cluster of mystery symbols. Once each bomb has generated the mystery overlay symbols, the reels spin with a symbol being chosen in the same way as the Mystery Reel Feature.
All in all Motörhead looks like it’s going to live up to or even surpass its predecessors. The game looks great visually, the soundtrack is superb, and the game’s many features will make players return to the game again and again.
