I guess this is one reason why there are only few brick and mortar in our country. But im not sure if my hunch is true. Link to comment

The online slots are programmed to pay more then their landbased counterparts. For example: Kim mentioned yesterday that he played Montezuma on a landbased machine, which offered 87% RTP. That same slot offers 95.86% RTP when you play it online. Offering a slot online is cheaper then offering it in a landbased casino. Not to mention that the online slot can be accessed from around the world with ease. While the landbased slot costs way more in maintenance and is available to only those that physically travel to it. So yeah your hunch is correct in that sense Link to comment
