Letsgiveitaspin and streamers alike - an open letter

It was on the January of 2016 that i stumbled upon the channel of Kim Hultman, a.k.a Letsgiveitaspin. Finally a gambling Youtuber who bet big - and lost big. It was truly exciting to watch your videos titled "Insanely painful Mega Joker Session" etc. One could feel the passion and agony of the ups and downs. The feels every gambler has on their journey.

Sadly, yours and some of your associates'  content has been lacking the true excitement that they used to have. And of course, everyone knows the reason for this. The amount of affiliate cash flooding into your accounts has been overwhelming. Millions of euros are pouring in and you still are playing 20-40 sek stakes... Ankle spins aren't what they used to be. If you wan't streaming to be your job in the future, try to bet big and act like it matters.

LOL ARE U FOR REAL.

these guys spinning 1-5 e spins is like normal guys spinning 01.02 e

every stream

how naive are u

they are not "streamers"

they are affiliates, making bank every month

Naive how? Of course they're affiliates making money off of it. Not many months ago the "daddie bros" were also betting mostly below €5, they weren't real streamers then but are now because they bet higher? I fail to see your argument, really.

It's time for the community to open their eyes. Demand something back for supporting the streamers.

First of I think your response speaks for it self about who is dumb and not.

I can associate with @thepastevent. But before you call me dumb let me try to explain my point of view.

In the beginning the streamers was betting high and doing crazy stuff. And as @thepastevent states, it cleary shows on youtube with the early videos. So I dont see how you find the question dumb when the streams have changed. To just asume that it's because they now all of a sudden started beeing "responsible with their money" is in fact a bit naive. Can't there be other reasons, or are you the one with all the facts?

Could one reason be that they in the beginning made big bets due to more excitement and trying to build the community. But now when they have the community supporting them, and on top of that have the millions dollar deal with leo they might have changed tactics?

So in the beginning they made big bets without a community (probably had to finance a big part of that themself). Now when they have a big community and can afford playing like they used to they choose not to. Could it all been a gimmick to build the community in order to cash out big when they had the reached a certain point?

Or maybe they have just started beeing more responsible as you said, But none of us know because they dont like to talk about stuff like this.

"daddie bros" bet higher now when they have a big community and can afford it, which seems fair. And really proves the point of the question. So the question was about streamers doing it the other way around you see?

Kim does a fair bit of giveaways and raffles I think? As does nickslots from what I've seen, in addition to donating a ton to charity.

Haven't called anyone dumb.

Keeping bet sizes reasonable and keeping earned money out of the gambling eco system (if that is the case, like you said, we don't know much about their personal finances) sounds like the smart thing to do for the future. They still have a large audience so must be doing something right.

Of course, but fair to whom exactly? Streaming slots come with no obligation to keep bets in proportion to income as  far as I know.

I have nothing against the brothers or sweet Jesus fwiw, I've watched and still watch a ton of their streams, so I'm not shilling for the big CG streamers and their approach in particular.

Cheers

First of all, back in January 2016 I had one of the biggest heaters of my life, I was winning tons and not losing very much.

I love to play slots and that's why I started playing and eventually started streaming, when it comes to the bet size it's sure lower than I can afford even though I don't agree that it's low. I play at a stake where I get excited but not insanely high. Playing nose bleed slot stakes encourage your viewers to do the same and will in most cases cost them a lot of money so yes, it's about me being responsible towards the audience.

Is it just me or does anyone else not get the "hate" for affiliation.

I was a gambler before I seen these streams, so I wasn't pushed into the scene.

When I sign up through an affiliate, I get better deals, more competitions, free stuff and social interaction. What do I get when I don't?

and apart from the responsible gambling bet size that they stick to, do people think a streamers time (life) is free to them? In the real world, I get paid for my time and work.

Um... I really don't understand this thread....

Are you saying that Kim doesn't celebrate enough when he wins?

I see him hurt his hand mutiple times highfiving Reggie.....

Or are you hoping that he would loose more so you see him depressed or ????

So if the streamers earn money from affiliation, isn't that a good thing ?

You don't loose anything on being a affiliate, sure the streamer gain on it, but the thing is you gain on it as well as you will get more benefits from the casino for signing up through the links.

Kim is allways trying to make better deals for his affiliates so yeah, I really don't see the issue you're having.

If you want to be a streamer yourself I'm sure that Kim will do everything he can to help you get started so you allso can make "millions" from doing nothing as it's aparently what you think is happening.

Why get upset when people making money of what they love doing? I wouldn't personally click on any of their links but if i did i would select carefully. I would select someone who gives back to people who earn them money like Bandit, Nick slots( who also give a lot to charity) or Craig and maybe not Kim or Hendrik/David Dabowski but that is my choice. However, i feel that i have no right to complain even if they make millions (which they don't).
