Skylined87 Posted 2 November, 2016 Share Posted 2 November, 2016 Ask your mobile operator to warn the sending number, that's the only probable way. Record received times of SMS and talk to them and forward them the spamming messages. Link to comment

I now report every SMS to the casino affiliate manager. How are the rules When affiliate spam? Link to comment
Skylined87 Posted 3 November, 2016 Share Posted 3 November, 2016 Well you could ask Casino which is advertised to notify the Affiliate sending this messages to stop. They will know who it is by affiliate ID (link to webpage in sms). edit: Or maybe not because its concealed by the url shortner Link to comment

TradaCasino Posted 10 November, 2016 Share Posted 10 November, 2016 This article indicates that a major crackdown on mass SMS marketing of this kind is in the pipeline: “Companies must comply with the law when using people’s personal information. Not knowing the law or trying to pass the buck to another company in the chain is no excuse. “The public expect firms to be accountable for how they obtain and use personal data when marketing by phone, email or text. Fail to be accountable and you could be breaking the law, risking ICO enforcement action and the future of your business.” https://ico.org.uk/about-the-ico/news-and-events/news-and-blogs/2016/11/ico-cracks-down-on-use-of-personal-data-in-online-gaming-sector/ Link to comment
frankylee Posted 6 December, 2016 Share Posted 6 December, 2016 I've got accounts on alot of different sites and I get alot of textmessages. And sometimes you get texts from sites you haven't even heard of. I think that it's only the shady sites that texts you ALOT, other more "serious" casinos won't do it that often. Try block the number or just live with it. IMO they will find a way to contact you anyway... Link to comment
