Getting banned for bonus abuse, has this happened to anyone else?

So I've been gambling online for over 3 years now and never had problems on any casinos, I use bonuses frequently but always read the bonus terms and play in a way that is allowed within them. Today was the day I was dreading was going to one day happen, I got an email from a casino that my account has been flagged for bonus abuse.

This particular bonus was a 100% offer that I got from a casino I'm not going to name since the issue is still ongoing, but it's a part of a bigger brand with many different casinos, that I have also played on. I made a very low deposit and got a really good cashout, which thankfully the casino is going to pay me. They also imposed a ban on me to all their sister sistes, some of where I have played thousands without taking bonuses

On this particular casino I have only played with bonuses, and I guess that is the reason for the "bonus abuse" ban, since I did not break any of the bonus terms (max bet, playing restricted games, saving bonuses etc.)

How common is this kind of thing? Are the things that casinos define as bonus abuse really so arbitary?

I was going to guess the same thing iv'e heard of this a few times!

More so for the group with 21, slot planet etc. They have no sticky bonuses and most of the other don't.

Still though they shouldn't ban people for winning or using bonuses! If they cant take the losses then they don't deserve to run a casino.

I've been banned from two casinos for bonus abuse, I won't tell any names unless somebody REALLY wants to know it. One of them they just told me I abused their system etc. without telling me exactly what it was I had done, was kinda bummed out cause they offered good bonuses regularly. Perhaps they just didn't like that that was the only time i made deposits, when they had a bonus to offer. The other one I kinda knew I did something they didn't like and it got me banned while still kind of working in my favor, so that's fine by me.

Caddell have a habit of banning people if you have taken the bonus three or more times across their network.

Although they are all under the same umbrella group, some operate independently and you can avoid being banned. Best way to check is by looking at the affiliates link at the bottom of each Caddell site - that way you can see which brands are connected.

Very rare to be banned for bonus abuse elsewhere, haven't seen that in many years.

I am guessing the Caddell group?

For me, don't offer bonuses if you don't want players to take them. If you offer them, then don't complain!

This is the thing that most baffles me, I can't understand why ban someone for using a bonus that you have offered? How is using their own promotions considered playing in "bad faith"?

Yeah as long as I get my money I'm good, it's not like I was really excited to play on any other of their casinos anymore :D

That's a really questionable way to treat players who play with bonuses. This comes back to the question, why offer bonuses if you clearly don't want players to use them?!

There's a couple casinos out there that explicitly state in their terms that they consider you an abuser if you deposit a couple times in a row and use a bonus offer every single time. If you make a "raw" deposit every now and then you're not considered an abuser anymore. Try making sense outta this, I dare you.

Remember @Luckii if you're banned on one site in the group, you're banned on all. So don't dep. on the other sites they run.

I simple don't understand that either.. Like u said @Slotplayer it's very simple, don't offer bonuses then. Everybody loses on the excessive banning.

Possibly they should be named and shamed and this thread brought to there attention.

I will stand by some of the caddell group and say that they are not all the same so if it is them then you will not be banned from them all.

If i were to guess i would bet money that it is the group that run 21, slot planet ect. Not spinland, spinstation, miami dice and casimba.

But again its ridiculous that they would do this. I rarely see any reason to make raw deposits on any casino unless i am simply out to try make profit which i rarely am..

wait, u mean they offer bonus, we take bonus, but this means we abuse bonus?/';  Seems legit lol

Which casinos are in this cadell group?  Is it 21prive, casimba etc?

@TechnoJoe You wouldn't believe you're eyes, but BitStarz (prob. one of the larger casinos with Curacao license), has this in their bonus terms.

Players who are solely making deposits when there is a bonus available will risk of having their winnings from the bonus confiscated and being left with the initial deposited amount of the bonus in question. Players who make 5 deposits in a row (excluding welcome package) to the casino and trigger a bonus on all of those will risk of losing their winnings from the bonus.

At least a single genuine deposit without bonus release has to be made prior to reaching 5 bonus releasing deposits in a row. The amount of the deposit has to be at least the average amount of the previous deposits made that triggered a bonus.

Decision if to confiscate funds will be made by the BitStarz Management and the decision made will be final.

:tf:

Cadell casinos are:

Casimba, Miami Dice, Spinland, Grandivy, Spintation, 21 Prive and Gday

Others using the same platform/software (at least it looks like it :) ) are Imperium bla bla solutions.

21 Casino, Casilando, Slot Planet etc..

Pretty sure they are all caddell casinos along with Plagrand, fruitcasa, Diamond7, Reel island and more.

But they are all in different groups. Id just like to know which ones it was and which ones that had done it before.

as i was sure it was 21 casino doing most of the work banning for bonus abuse..

Just as an update, my withdrawal on the site has been processed so I will be receiving my winnings, which is great news. I did ask for a further explanation why I got banned but did not receive one. I can now say that the casino in question was Diamond7.

Same thing happened to me with that group. I won loads, deposited loads, and they quite often put a temp ban in place. Last year I didn’t play there as much and they didn’t like it, so imposes a ban and said I needed to deposit more! Muppets! I told them to close my account and now play elsewhere...

I have been branded a 'bonus abuser' by one casino only and its a popular one with streamers.I think that my 'abuse' was to simply cash out earlier( as they allow people to do) when I had an amounts that were useful to me,all under £200 and no more than 10x original deposit. Its an excellent casino and I am not banned from playing there but only from bonuses, free spins etc. I tried to find out why they considered me this as I was getting free spins in my account but wasn't allowed to use them, but all I got was was a repetitive 'you are a bonus abuser' without any explanation why. It does grind my gears this sort of behaviour from casinos.

Yeah, pretty much the same for me, I won't mention any names but... you know what screw it, for me it was Casumo. They barred me from any kind of bonus offer for - according to them - playing their Reel Races while wagering for a deposit bonus. They told me I could still play on their site but not use any kind of bonus money or deposit bonus, as well as not being able to claim any sort of prize money from those races. The next day I asked them to ban me outright, cause if they don't offer any bonuses to me, literally any other site would be a better place to play for me.

I've been banned under the term 'bonus abuse' due to the fact I only ever played with bonuses, they changed the ban to you still have your account but with no bonuses. I also did not know that most casinos have an algorythm that calculates your non bonus deposits against your bonus deposits. This score can then affect the bonuses you may recieve from them. Its all over anyways in the UK markets, since the changes of bonus terms from most casinos on 1st March the amount of bonuses have decreased dramatically and I can see the amount of bonuses being offer are going to be much reduced and lower terms also.

For the record, mine was Casumo too. Only ever happened with this casino and nobody else in about 6/7 of online casino use.
