*Warning* Casumo currently not paying out to Norwegian players

Casumo said it came to their attention yesterday. The banks in Norway are not allowed to transfer funds to and from gambling related sites.

However the different Casino operators have used different payment providers to bypass this ban. Casumo said in the chat that more information will come in the following days.

They also said that compensations to players affected by delayed withdrawals, were unlikely to be given.

Did send a email to casumo and this was the reply i got from em:

Hejhej,

Betalingsleverandøren har fått problemer med bankoverføringer til Norge da lotteritilsynet har sendt et vedtak til Norske banker om å stoppe transaksjoner fra utenlandske spill selskap. Betalingsleverandøren vår må derfor få seg ett nytt kontonummer, så kommer bankuttak til å bli tilgjengelig igjen.

I dont think you can blame casumo for this. I belive every casinos using trustly for transfering money will have the same problem, as the two IBAN numbers they transfer from is banned in norway. If you read the statement trustly had not give any proof of any other acitivity in norway regarding moneytransfer, that is why they are shut down. They need to have some kind of other "business" in norway, or as casumo support says, new IBAN to transfer from (but that is a temporary solution as this will probably be shut down aswell after a period).

casumo using trustly's services, so the problem lays at trustly. however, casumo's responsibility is to either replace trustly or wait for them to come up with a solution, and i belive that isnt done in a few days. just hang in there, i belive they will fix it some way or another :)

I made a withdrawal from a different casino on Friday 8. December using Trustly, and still haven't seen the money. Trustly hadn't gotten the money in return last week (I guess this can vary from bank to bank), really hoping for it to happen, and for no further complications to occur and to get the money fairly soon. I'm a bit annoyed at them for letting the withdrawal go through though, as the fact that the transactions would be blocked was made public on Thursday 7. December. I would think that Trustly would be aware of this and put all transactions to Norwegian bank accounts on hold, instead of sending them to a closed door.

... Got the money back today, and it's now being processed through Entercash, which my casino put up as the alternative when Trustly was blocked. However, Entercash also had an account number blocked the same time as Trustly, so hope they've set up a new outgoing account (somehow I try to refuse the idea that the casino would be bad enough to replace a non-functioning option with another non-functioning option). Fingers crossed
