David Labowsky Posted 26 August, 2016 Share Posted 26 August, 2016 Hey friends, a lot of folks including myself with fine internet, have been experiencing buffering and lag issues on Twitch. After some digging and searching I found a fix, I made a short video explaining step by step how to apply the fix. Right click on your internet/wifi part in the bottom right of your screen, Open Network and Sharing Center, click on Windows Firewall and go to advanced firewall settings. Go to inbound rules and add a new rule. Select Custom rule -> Next -> Next -> Next -> Change Remote IP addresses and add this IP: 173.194.55.0/24 Click on next -> Block the connection -> Name it whatever you want to name it, and close it. Now Press Windowskey + R and type cmd (and hit enter) In the window that just opened: Type ipconfig /flushdns (and hit enter) Now restart your browser. Twitch should be smooth as Reggie now (I recommend Chrome for watching streams) Video is shown here: Link to comment
