Boom City programming error?

I really enjoy this game, and think this is a game show that is adding something new to gameshows that are full of wheel games. I have also won a few really good wins on this game like a 200x, 500x and even a 1000x on Lucky Drop, so this complain is not a SCAM alert, but a serious programming error I think this game show has. 

But I have found a serious issue there and have tried to tell their customer support, but they just check game history and rejects my request. 

It happened a while ago when I played bonus game Lucky Drop and chose my dice. I was sure i chose dice number 4, but I then saw my winnings didn't match the x this number gave. I just thought I maybe made a mistake my self, as I trust this providers to have the math right. But when this happened again later the same day, and also in Dice Battle were I always chose the colour blue and outcome changed to "gold" and a lower pay out, then I contacted customer support. But they just checked the history were it says I chose the outcome the payed me for. 

After that I have always taken a screen shot when playing og my chosen outcome. But there has not been a issue with this for days, until today when I chose number 6 on Lucky Drop that should have payed 70x, but only got payed 5x. Then I checked history and outcome was also changed. I know for sure that I Chose number 6, and it was number 6 chosen until round was finished before it changes in history. 

I have seen in their chat others experiencing the same, but they also get same answer as me. 

Today I have been following this issue with customer support, and even if it is easy to shout out SCAM, I honestly believes this is some kind of programming error, but customer support are to dumb to actually take this seriously and send it to provider that I am sure would have tried to locate a serious error like this. If this can happen even one time in a million it is serious. But this has happened to me four times now, and I will of course not play this game anymore until they have fixed this issue. 

Have others experienced this? And is there any way to contact the right persons to solve this issue and help them locate the error as their customer support don't see the problem as they just check the game history that seems fine.

A little update to this. 
I have been playing this again on smaller stakes to see what happens, and this issue is far greater than I first though. It happens a lot that the game changes the number you actually chose in the bonus game just as the game is finished. Last time I wrote it was because I should have won 70x, but only got payed 5x on a different outcome than I did chose. 

Yesterday the opposite happended. In "Dice Battle" I chose Blue, and Gold won 500x. But then I saw I godt paid 500x, and also checked history that once again had changed my chosen outcome after round finished. I could read in chat many who chose Gold god paid 8x for Blue instead. But this time the mistake went in my favor. 

Today I played with a very low stake, and on Lucky Drops this happens all the time. I just chose number 5 that should have paid 5x, but after I checked history and was paid 13x for number 1 instead. 

And another crazy thing happened today. There was a round were it landed on Lucky Drops, the host alsp called it, but then the dice just started to roll again. The host was as surprised as the players, but they never gave that bonus back and just pretended like everything is normal. 

How can this game still be available when it is not reliable at all? This is just an error in the game as I just won 500x when I should have won 8x, but at the same time a lot of players that should have won 500x got paid 8x. 

And no one at support will answer and just checks game history and says that everything is ok.

Hello klaumb, this exact scenario happened to me a few times, specifically on the lucky drop bonus game.

As a result I started a screen recording the next time this bonus game was initiated, sure enough the fault happened again. The number I chose should have resulted in a 200x payout but instead a 5x payout was given and in my history the chosen number was different to my actual choice.

The in game live support didn’t even respond the my messages about this so I have approached the casino provider directly with the video recording which clearly shows my choice and what happens in the bonus round and am waiting for a response.

I’m very concerned that this has happened to other customers and they (pragmatic play) have ignored their reports of a fault/issue.

Depending on the response from the provider I may upload the video to youtube - I will keep you updated.

This also has happened to me multiple times never happens the opposite way though . I always choose 6 my last one hit a 400x and i got a 10x . Had screen proof of my choice. The live support is the worst of any provider by far they just ignore you. Stopped playing as this has happened to me now 6 or more times with wins over 200x. Its a joke they do nothing

Yo dude, I'm only guessing but going from what you say, i think it's actually just a lag/connection issue - it doesn't sound like a software bug, it sounds more like your client is confirming your choice but it's not being sent to their server in time, and if the game gets no response from player then it just auto-picks colour/dice number to play bonus under.

 

All your examples match the same, but that gold 500x mistake in your favour especially is a classic example of players thinking their choice has registered when in actual fact the server didn't get their choice and is auto-picking for them instead. If your game history showed your original choice with a random incorrect multi applied, then it would be a bug, but since the history shows the random choice with it's correct in-game multi applied then it means you're just auto-picking without realising.

 

I'm surprised live chat hasn't mentioned the old 'clear cache, clear cookies ' spiel, as normally that's their 1 single answer to every single technical problem anyway lol , but doing this may help.

Also, try running any gameshows on the 'Low' video quality, as often streaming in their 'High' HD setting causes the stream to lag which also affects the time window available to players to make a selection - the countdown timer on screen may show 5 seconds left, but if it's lagged then at their server end the 5 seconds has already happened and you're considered non-response.

And if clearing your device end doesn't work, then it probably just means your casinos servers are crap at handling high volume traffic and maybe try playing elsewhere.

Or if you're playing through a VPN, this would also explain it too, as routing a HD stream through VPN can be notoriously laggy.

I think if you’d seen this game in action it would become clear that it’s not a connection/lag issue.

Firstly on the main round you select up to six options and having personally played over 1000 games it has never rejected or not successfully received my selections.

Secondly once you make your choice on the bonus round that we’re talking about, it displays confirmation of your choice on screen when the game commences (and subsequently displays the increase in your winning multiplier accordingly as the game progresses).

If there were any issues in the communication of a players selection then you’d expect to see a warning/error message and the “random” choice displayed on screen (which doesn’t happen).

I have escalated my complaint to the casino regarding this matter and will update once a response is received.

Good to hear more people can confirm my issue, but sad to hear people missing big wins. 

This happens a lot to the game. This is easy to see as you can just read the chat, and almost every bonus round there is someone complaining about "wrong pay". As @TerryL says the game confirms your choice and shows it on screen, so this has nothing to do with lag. And even if it was this is still a serious error affecting many players. If you play a lottery you would clearly like to know which ticket you have. I 
My 500x win on the opposite choice that I made does show that this is not a scam or something like that, but just an honest mistake that somehow makes your choice to a random choice after the round is finished.
But I just can't understand how they can let this game still run when this issue occurs to so many players. 

I was just inside the game now reading the chat, and I then answered one player that had this issue that it is a common issue. The customer support then contacted me and threatened me for making such comments in the chat. 

I have also sent screen shots and complain to Pragmatic, but have not gotten any answer in a month. So my guess is they know about this issue, but don't want to stop the game and just ignores every complain. 

I think this is a shame as the gameshow is really good and offers something new to all the wheel based games, and I have seen a lot of really big wins like a 20,000x win short time ago. I also had a few 500x and a 1000x my self and the big wins like that seems a bit more common in this game than in other Game Shows. But I have completely stopped playing it as I can't trust the chosen outcome to be correct.

@klaumb After being fobbed off by the casino provider, I took my complaint to IBAS and suddenly I was paid out the correct amount.

Unfortunately the majority of people will not have a screen recording that can’t be disputed and will be ignored.

My advice is for everyone to avoid Pragmatic Play, they are simply not a trustworthy provider.

Am really pleased to hear you did get paid out first of all, though sorry it was such a crap hassle!

 

I just wanted to add further though, you mentioning about screen recording is an important point - when i responded about lag, i didn't realize your choice was being displayed on screen correctly AND then results history was showing different figure - you just said results history was matching payout. If screen display is showing correct then yes that is a different issue to lag. But without any screen recording evidence, it would be hard to argue your case against their game history logs, so recording any new, unproven games or just all games played could well be the best idea for everyone to start doing.

 

(As a side note, i would wager it is still likely going to be a server issue in that casino end is just getting overloaded with traffic & dropping packets - software bugs on slots isn't anywhere near the issue it is on say video games, etc, and server issues are way easier to check & confirm compared to code debugging, hence why i suspect you've seen quick payout since IBAS escalation - they probably just told your casino to get their fingers out and check their server logs, i doubt very much Pragmatic got asked to check their game source code)
