Emsydi Posted 15 October, 2021 Share Posted 15 October, 2021 Saw an ad for Pokerstars tonight on Twitch. Is this the real reason for removing links? So they can advertise casinos themselves on their ads to make money. 1 Quote Link to comment
Svenix Posted 16 October, 2021 Share Posted 16 October, 2021 (edited) No, it's due to promoting unlicensed casino's and promoting it to underaged followers. Twitch knows you're 18+ and a streamer doesn't. Edit: By the way, you can't compare Twitch showing an ad and a streamer promoting a referral link. Twitch get's paid based on how many people who have watched the ad, streamers are getting paid based on how much you're losing. In my unpopulairy opinion they should ban this way of earning money. Because now the casino ánd the streamers want you to lose so they make more money. Edited 16 October, 2021 by Svenix Quote Link to comment
