RTP on CasinoFriday isn't correct (and very low)

Recommended Posts

Hey @Bas210

Sorry for the late reply, I forwarded this thread to them but didn't follow up as I had vacation and tried to stay away from gambling. Have poked them again, if it's correct it's not good at all. Personally I try and avoid PnG / Pragmatic as they tend to have lower RTP on most casinos and if it's not 96%, the casinos are adviced by the providers not to show it unless license forces them to do so.

If you need to me to take a look at a post in the future, please drop me a PM as my notifications are at 99+ all the time.

All the best,
Kim

I do not understand that people are so concerned about RTP. It is not high or low RTP that determines when a slot machine pays out big. Forget RTP, that with RTP is just nonsense

So you would play a 50% RTP slot? Just compare it with a lottery, if you can chose between a lotto with 2 times 1mil$ prizes or one with a 1mil$ prize with the other and the lot price exactly the same, will you choose the one with the 1mil$ prize? The RTP on that one is lower than the first one, so a higher RTP DOES make sence.

It is not the same. Wrong comparison. Can you guarantee me that I will win 97 euros when I bet 100euro on a slot machine that has 97% RTP

I can remember the time LetsGiveItASpin had people of a casino in the chat, f.i. Dan of Videoslots, we made jokes like: "C'mon Dan! push that RTP button!" We thought it was a joke because we, the chat and also Kim were under the impression that casinos couldn't adjust the RTP.

Boy, we were wrong. And this is the big flaw in the current regulation. All these rules to "protect" the gambler but when casinos change the odds, not in favour of the player and mostely secretly, the regulations are not regulating. And don't tell me that a Maltese license will protect you from this low RTP's. F.i. Vikings casino has a Maltese license but on the Play'N Go games like Book of Dead, Legacy of Dead and Rise of Merlin you have a very sad RTP of 87.4%.

Why isn't and will this not be regulated? My guess is that the Lotery, Lotto and scratchtickets will get in trouble because their max RTP is just around 50%. And the state, at least in the Netherlands, will lose a lot of money, if those forms of gambling will dissappear.

True that, I believe that RTPs cannot be adjusted through a doom- or boomswitch.

Although it was a bit suspicious how Letsgiveitaspin hit that 15000x or something on opening night of Bonanza.

Speaking of Dan of Videoslots: I used to be a regular there for years and all was cool while Dan was there.
The reduced RTPs at VS were only introduced after Dan left to work for Pragmatic Games.
A couple of months ago Dan has appeared again at another gambling forum, tasked to explain how Pragmatic does not sponsor shady streamers/casino's.

Still a great guy though, cannot hate him for that 👍

Had same problem there, a slot ive played for years and almost know it like the back of my hand. Enter casino Friday its like they have their own copy of the game with downlow RTP. I selfexcluded permanently from them

Had the same feeling but when they told me it was at least 94% I felt fucked but the 94 was the ultimate bottomline for me, not 91.
