Fake Streamers + discussion

I know, I know, its a faux pas for this discussion, but I need to raise a point that I haven't seen be discussed.

Streamers that are now playing with non-withdrawable funds (deposited by the casino and cannot be withdrawn by the player) is not only a massive problem because it disguises proper gambling, but it does something far far worse. It ruins the RTP on games. If a streamer who is using "real money" that's not actually withdrawable, the machine thinks that it has "paid out" and that has to be factored into the RTP of that slot for the rest of us that are playing that game.

I'm not quite sure exactly why so many streamers and leaders in the community are too scared to bring up fake streamers and the casinos that offer the non-withdrawable bonuses, but there needs to be a discussion on it.

Ive repeatedly reported it to the MGA and am doing everything I can to try and put an end to it. When you ask a streamer if they are real or fake- you get perma banned immediately.

Online gambling is already on thin ice in the EU and other jurisdictions. If this bullshit keeps happening, and more and more people go bankrupt from online gambling, that will be the end of not only online gambling, but a lot of peoples income due to affiliation so it's in everyone's best interest to try and put an end to this bullshit.

I logged in specifically to write my own feelings on this issue. I watch streamers such as Kim, Moritz, Dave and Nick. I have only met Kim but assume that those others are using their own real money as well. There needs to be some protection given to streamers who use real money and not fake funds. Viewers are being tricked into believing that a guy betting $100-$1000 or more per spin everyday is the norm and legit. Something has to be done before this gets way out of hand! Viewers should know they are being scammed.

Why do you think payouts in slots of "fake streamers" influence the RTP of a game...? annoying these kind of assumptions

I do agree that fake money streams should be punishable and considered a crime.

you understand that RTP = Return to Player , correct?

*edit* if the machine and rtp has paid out and "returned to player" that is equated to go against the RTP as a whole.

These threads are getting a bit boring now we are all aware of fake streamers. You can tell who they are by the stakes they use/balance and the casinos they promote. I understand its annoying, pathetic and very dishonest but we really dont need more topics on this when there are plenty already on here.

The RTP doesn't work like that on online slots. Some slots in arcades work like that, and future plays can be affected by past wins. But each spin is independent of the previous in online slots, and therefore I don't think the fake streamers affect the RTP, but they are just scummy for seeming like £100+ spins and £25k bonus buys are the norm...

I apologize for not being as aware as I should’ve about this being an already wore out topic. I guess I’m looking more into the only protection I feel legit streamers can get, that being awareness to viewers. I don’t believe all viewers are aware of fake streamers. Once again I apologize for talking about an old topic.

Transparency is key I think, the likes of Kim and other RockNrollas, Nick they are all willing to go over and show things.

I seen  ShitMonkz on stream the other day who is bragging he has 250k of Pokemon  cards and games.  He then at the end showed a screenshot of money in his bank account, not from the app, it was a screen shot.

Another streamer said you will have to pay CGT (Capital Gains Tax) on this when you come to sell them.  Basically any gain you make selling assets in the UK over a certain amount.

He imperially went on the defensive and said its all done through his company and done legit.

This is a downright lie, as his "company"  assets are public information. There ain't 250k Euros in there at all, when asked about this he said the accounts are a year old,  that is true,  but he said at the start that this collection has took him 5-6 years to make. So if he did sell the assets into the business like he claims, it should show in the accounts.

The issue is with him and certain streamers, you just can't trust them, and it does not paint a good picture.

I agree, if streamers are transparent with their viewers it gets them the support that they need to continue to grow their channel and everyone knows they are above board. Enjoy watching Nick, rolla, bandit.

I like streamers who show the true reality of gambling that it’s not all big wins but big losses too. Show monthly deposits/losses etc.

but what gets me is when streamers do a video where they are very selective with their definition of big wins. For example they get a 100x at £2 spins, nothing special for them. But they then show a video where they  are ‘playing off stream and hit a Monte bonus at £40’, get a 50x win and all of a sudden that win is classed as Super Rare huge win even though it’s a lower X win than their lower stakes ones, but I guess that doesn’t draw people in.

I actually asked Chip on stream why Jord isn’t working from home,  he can play slots from home sure. And why he isn’t social distancing, wearing masks, sanitising equipment between him and Jord using it since it is their workplace and it’s his responsibility as an employer to make it safe to work in. I got insta blocked from their mods and from Twitter😂

I would report him: https://onlinecrime.notts.police.uk/

Loved ones are stuck in care homes and have been for 12 months, the UK is on a full lockdown and everyone is trying there hardest to save lives, stay at home and protect the NHS.

People are getting fined £10,000 for not adhering to Covid-19 rules, but its OK for them to:

  • Not Socially distance
  • Break Covid19 rules by entering into other house holds
  • No Masks
  • No screens between each other
  • No sanitising of equipment before and after use
  • Jordan to Travel to Scotland every weekend, and also come back and then mix households..

I saw multiple times when he was running out of money in his balance he went to a menu were it said rewards, and then he clicked to activate 2000 euro, maybe i am wrong but looked like non deposit bonus money to me. He played on slottyvegas

  • 4 weeks later...

It's not illegal for a casino to sponsor a streamer and offer them a deal. I have come across many casino streamers where they receive a $5 - $10k bullet per stream (not raw money) and let's say they stream that casino for 3 hours. At the end of the stream the streamer makes a cash out and the casino will claw back 80 percent and the streamer gets 20 percent as a commission for streaming the casino to their viewers.

I guess this is done because you may not win anything every stream and the casino isn't having to pay a weekly / monthly sponsorship deal to the streamer.
