arcanebet - introducing ourselves + feedback / help thread

Hi all,

We’re the newest-listed casino on here, so we figured we’d give a bit of an introduction on ourselves. Together with the team we launched the arcanebet casino in 2020. We set-out on a journey that in the first two years can be summarized in one sentence: do the basic things right.

Having a Curacao license, we knew we were embarking on something that would be a little bit of an uphill battle, given the negative perception some of these casinos (unfortunately often rightfully so) have. Still, we passionately believed that there was a place for us in the casino-world, as long as we “just” did those basic things right.

The things that – in our view – disturb players the most, are nontransparent or unclear terms relating to the promotional offering, the stalling in processing withdrawals or – with the same intent – delaying the verification of customers. Central to our operations in the first year, was making sure we covered those areas right.

In this post, we want to give you a glimpse into the operations of arcanebet and how we evaluate our first year of being live. It’s our conviction that we’re a safe and friendly place to play at for those genuinely interested in having a good time – which of course does not mean having to be a losing player - and we’re very proud to be listed on-here.

As a thank-you for that listing, we did not just want to lurk around in the shadows but put ourselves out there and engage in a dialogue with the community.

KYC’ing

In 2020, it took us on average 7.5 hours to KYC customers. This is when you count all the hours there are in a year (24/24, 7/7). If we’d only count the hours within our operational hours (10 CET to 20 CET) you were on average verified in under an hour.

Withdrawals

It took us on average 8 hours to process withdrawals, or 3.5 hours within our operational hours. We’re quite proud of one of our members winning 130.000 EUR on Crazy Time and also being able to process a withdrawal of that size, that early-on in our existence.

In 2021 we already saw another 75.000 EUR winner (on Immortal Romance this time around), which we processed in just a few hours as well.

While we do have a withdrawal limit of 50.000 EUR a week per player to protect us from big swings, we also managed to get wins of that size over to players in no time. It’s a testament to how terms & conditions are there to protect us, but that we’re not always enforcing them just because we can. It’s our way of siding with the player, whenever we can.

We were blessed by the fact that the 130k winner advocated for our services on an online forum (review section), so you don’t have to only take our word for it :)

Terms & conditions

We have a 15% weekend cashback promotion that compensates net losses at wagering requirements of just 1x, a welcome pack with friendly wagering requirements (17.5x deposit + bonus, max bet of 5 EUR), leader board prizes that are paid out in cash and give-away surprise gifts at very friendly wagering requirements.

At the same time, we focus on product initiatives that automatically enforces terms & conditions, without the player having to read them. One example is the fact we prevent you from playing games that are not allowed to be played with bonus-money.

While we believe our bonuses are rewarding and do not come with any predatory terms (on the contrary), we also aim to make this more visible in the terms themselves. Visually they will never be an artwork, but we can structure them more logically and display them in a sort of FAQ format. This is something we’re working on right now and hope to “release” soon.

That being said, we run the type of business where as a genuine player, you don’t really have to care about terms & conditions, once you’re beyond the welcome pack, as everything is practically wager-free afterwards.

2021

What does 2021 hold in store for us and for you, if you decide to join us on our journey? First and foremost, we want to continue doing these basic things right and never compromise on them.

Secondly, with the basic framework set-up right, we want to quickly introduce some customer-facing improvements:

  • ·         A redesign of the website that enhances the customer experience, but where our main selling propositions are visually clear to visitors as well, without having to read through a long post like this one :);

  • ·         A loyalty system compensating players automatically for their activity, regardless of winnings / losses;

  • ·         A more advanced way of searching for games. Currently you can filter by provider or title, we also want to include things such as “grid-play, bonus buys, walking wilds,…”) so you can easily find that game you’re in the mood for playing;

  • ·         An extension of our operating hours and availability of live chat.

We would like to become a trusted and established partner in the industry that always sides with the player when possible. In other words: we want to be that site where we would play-on ourselves.

Not exactly a short post but if you liked what you read, we welcome you to give us a try. As the old saying goes: the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Thank you for the nice introduction and best of luck in 2021 !

I have just browsed through the site and all T&C's.

Although nothing out of the ordinary, I would recommend all new players to read those carefully when playing with a bonus because of some Terms, especially the slots that are not allowed or less weighted.

Unfortunately I may not signup myself at Arcane Casino, being from the Netherlands.

I noticed that some of the bigger slot providers are not supported (yet). Any plans for adding new game providers?

I played at you guys a couple of days ago and I did not get a good feeling at all about it.

I Deposited aprox- 40 euro for the welcome bonus and wanted to play some Play and Go slots for it. But after depositing i realised that it was no reason for me to even play as my balance was in mBTC (bitcoin) and I could not change it to another currency i was stuck at doing 0.8 mbtc minimum bet a spin (20 euros). Thats just insane but bitcoin was the only deposit method I could use for me as im from Sweden.

Thanks for the good luck wishes!

Regarding reading the terms and conditions: always good advice! Though as mentioned in the intro, we automatically block slots you're not allowed to play with bonus-money, so you can rest at ease there :)

The reason why you're not seeing big slots providers is because of your location - we automatically hide content that is not available to you, which is a lot for the Netherlands :)

Players from other jurisdictions will see the full range we have to offer, which includes all the big ones. We have our headquarters in the Netherlands and are keeping our eye on the market, so hopefully somewhere next year, we may also be able to accept you on arcanebet!

My personal experience with Arcanebet is much better than most other MGA licensed casinos. Their Curacao license should not stop anyone from playing there. I promise!

  • KYC verification one of the fastest i've experienced 👌
  • Withdrawal extremely fast 🤑
  • One of the best customer services out there - honestly! 🙏

If there is anything i could suggest as improvement: amout of slots could be better, and their promotions (slots) doesnt quite suit my kind of play (most wagering tournaments, and i find it boring and my wallet is not big enough to fight that battle).

So unfortunate that this has been your experience with us and that this will be one of the first replies to our introduction thread.

You're right though, bitcoin is the only available method for Sweden due to regulatory reasons and the interface will not allow you to exchange currencies. The support team could have helped you with that, did you try reaching out to them? Don't get me wrong: that is a hassle in and of itself, I'm just curious to know whether you approached them. Normally you play in the currency you deposit with, that is why the interface does not allow for exchanges, but we do make exceptions when requested.

Regarding the minimum bet: there are plenty of game suppliers available that feature a much lower stake than Play'n Go in bitcoin. So also here it is unfortunate that this was your first choice, because also here you are right: Play and Go is not optimized for bitcoin-play, feedback we have also shared with them and something they are working to improve.

Either way, it's an honest review and even though this is not the opening we had hoped for, we thank you for sharing it. Could you please get in touch with support, referencing this review, so we can review account-specific information and perhaps see if something can be done for you?

If you're not using Ecopayz or bitcoin, then currently there is indeed nothing else available for Norway, with Skrill having retracted themselves from the market late December.

Good you signed-up anyway though, we'll make sure to be in touch when we find a suitable card processor!

We're well aware of the negative perception that exists and we don't blame you, there are some rogue sites out there that warrant skepticism.

We're not one of them though and if you do a bit of research, you'll see many people vouching for us. This includes the person that won the 130.000 EUR, because that did happen. 

The proof of the pudding is in the eating, though. It makes no sense for either of us to be saying "we're good" vs "no you're not". It's up to the players to determine so and if you don't want to be one of our players, because of our license, we respect that decision and wish you all the best on the many other websites out there with licenses that may better suit your needs.

Well it's good that use have came on here and put your small reputation on the line which speaks volumes generally, use haven't shyed away from the licence issue and are showing use have nothing to hide, fair play and hope to see ppl get many big wins and more importantly cashouts

Hi all! Wanted to share some experiences on Arcanebet.com.

I started my Arcanebet career as i saw an ad on CG.com.
Im very experienced player and i had few years where i didn't gamble at all.


I stumbled upon this site and at first sight i was little horrified..
There were many good games, but i also saw f.e. NoLimit isn't in the list. Also i noticed the Curacao badge and was worried if i win something will i ever get my winnings?
Well, i remember talking with Simon (this guy 10/10) at the Customer support and he convinced me that there isn't anything me to worry about.

I started with small 20 euro deposit and found myself over 100 euro balance soon after.
I tried to withdraw, but it prompted me to verify my account (this should be automatically asked upon depositing - for faster payouts).
Verifying took around 15-20 minutes, but after i kept playing and lost my money on my first bullet.

Next bullet i got similar win, about 200 euro.
Cashout took about 10-15 minutes (they go really fast when the payments team is at work).
And i have been playing there for about a month, and every cashout has arrived to my bank account latest at next morning.

Also they have very good campaigns for slots/betting. I managed to win 450€ real cash from their tournament, instantly cashed out it, and received it on my bank account in under 5 minutes.
Seems like tournaments are very seldom up, so after first deposit, there isn't really any bonuses for you to try. For me that isn't a issue, when i like to play as raw cash.
Also there is weekend cashback, which gives every loss back 15% for the whole weekend (with 1x rollover!) - this is a great promotion, but should be extended more than just the weekend.

Overall i've had one of the best customer support experiences. They answer in seconds, ALWAYS are friendly and even cheer for you winnings and when having a rougher time, tell how sorry they are for it. There isn't a issue they wouldn't resolve.
Curacao-license is what it is, but this casino seems to respect fair play.

I truely recommend this casino.
I would say it's one of the best customer supports ever, and if they improve their promotions and game portfolio in the future, i could say its overall one of the best casinos ive ever played on.
