Didn't get a screenshot of my win (as I wanted to include basegame win as well) but this game removed final win amount after its done counting.. stupid. The game counts bonus round wins per round in the transaction log so these amounts needs to be combined for the total bonus round + base game win.

Won €320ish total, 160x. I'll edit post to include pic of actual win if I get a better one.

Feedback:

I kinda like the game, but it's a bit meh. I don't see very big potential for huge wins (X-wise) here but overall it's a nice game, especially for wagering as the balance pretty much stays still in one place. Also, especially in the bonus, the random feature drops (large symbols) seems to be more detrimental than advantage for the player as it removes good symbols that would otherwise hit if it didn't land. 

Landing 3 scatters in the bonus game awards 3 extra spins, but it should have been +1 per symbol (minimum of 3 maybe). I hit 6 bonus symbols in the bonus and still only got 3 extra spins.

Sorry irrelevant to the giveaway . I have never taken casinos welcome   bonuses before always afraid of them but want to start using bonuses from now on. 

Want to use the welcome bonus from CG page on partycasino and it says the deposit amount and the bonus amount needs to be wagered 35 times , so if i deposit 100 euros and use the bonus then the needed wagering is 70 times the deposit ( 7000€ ) , am i right ?

The game isnt too bad was saved many times by the tnt however done over plenty more times by falling giant symbols, the game loves a tease but hit a few bonuses my best was the above.

First impressions are negative as for most of Playtech games. Music is pure earrape for me and the game is boring and slow. Graphics dept did  a goodjob. Playtech is a big company in their field offering software solutions  but they need to commit more manpower to be successful on competitive slots field. Most of their games seem half-assed tbh.

 

 Will def play it more during promotion but for now it's been a deposit killer with max 5x win for couple deposits

This is one of those expanding reels-types. Funny how the smaller the symbols the bigger the wins, but ok. I like gems and jewels, but i do not like the reels getting so small i can hardly see them unless my nose gets flat hitting the screen. Else, was fun with the questionmar symbol that got copied all over the board! Else, this isn't a gametype I usually play, but seems polished enough.. Again, I can't seem to bonus this game.

Got owned at my first time of playing, but the second time I gave it a bash I had two bonuses that didn't do that well.
It didn't really matter because I got quite a few decent hits on the basegame, played a bit more Playtech games and got lucky so it resulted in a cashout.
There's definitely some good hits to be had here.
The falling big symbols were often a pain in the ass instead of helping, but you can't always win. I hope Playtech will be available on other websites as well because I don't see their slots that often? Keep on creating awesome slots!

Thoughts about 'Hot Gems Xtreme' by Playtech: this is a good / very good game.

After a few spins I recognized that the mechanics of this game resemble the 'Gold' series of ELK Studios.
(Ecuador Gold, Tahiti Gold, Voodoo Gold, Black River Gold. Coming up: Katmandu Gold)

Now I feel that these ELK games are exceptionally good games, as they are innovative and beautiful.
The only problem I see with these games is the win distribution and/or how the bonuses play out. 
It never feels as random.

Hot Gems Xtreme does not have innovative features and the sound and graphics are a bit poorer than the above mentioned games,
but that still leaves a pleasant game and if the win distributions are different, it could still leave a great game.

Now I am not sure about the volatility of this game: in a couple of hours of play I have had at least a dozen bonus games, with results ranging from exactly 0x to about 160x. In this thread I noticed a 1200x though.

The game feels a bit clunky / weird imo. The random expanding feature can be really frustrating when taking time to expand onto 9 tiles and not pay. Had I hit a huge win, would my opinion probably be different

Review:

Not a fan.

Seems very volatile, but volatile should also mean the potential of getting huge wins. I am not feeling the potential.

As I said earlier the big dropping blocks screwing you over makes things even worse.

Visuals + sounds are fine.

So since I didn’t get an answer I’ll just post my potential entry just in case...

 

Like I mentioned I wasn’t able to play Hot Gems Xtreme but since I only deposited money for this promotion I hope it‘s fine that I played the normal version (Hot Gems) instead. I have no clue why the new version isn’t available for germans, but there are weird regulations for us right now so there is nothing that can surprise me anymore.

The site is called PartySlots instead of PartyCasino for Germans now because Germans aren’t able to play live casino games anymore. So it‘s only slots and the name of the site wasn’t fitting anymore. If I go to partycasino.com I get redirected to partyslots.de. 

Ofc I didn’t try to get a big win for the big win competition since it’s a different game but on the random prize draw where it only matters to get a 30x win I think it’s not too much of a difference if I grinded that on the Xtreme or on the standard version. 

However, I can only give feedback on the standard version of the game. It‘s much like Gonzo‘s Quest in the Bonus with increasing multiplier on each hit you get in one spin but after the spin it resets. Just one difference: the Top symbol is a scatter that pays without being lined up, so it might be easier to get a good hit with a decent multiplier during the bonus. 
 

Since I like Gonzo I also like Hot Gems. I actually like it a little bit more than the standard version of Gonzo.

I‘d rate it 7/10, nothing too exciting but a decent slot I wouldn’t mind playing more often and I actually would play it if I was allowed to get a big win for the competition on it.

 

So I hope this counts for the random prize draw, if not it‘s fine aswell. Just trying after I deposited money for this promotion anyway, hope you don’t mind, just do whatever you‘d say is fair.
