Slotplayer streamiing on Twitch

Slotplayer

Recommended Posts

Let me first of all introduce myself.

My name is Mark, and I stream regularly on Twitch playing at Videoslots casino. I live in the UK and for those of you that have already seen me play, you may notice from my accent that I am Dutch of origin.

My twitch stream can be found here: https://www.twitch.tv/slotplayer

I stream between the hours of 08:45 and 12:00 (UK times) when I am on my rest days from work. Because I work 4 on 4 off, the days of the week that I stream therefore change each week. My Twitch home page will show the next scheduled stream.

Please do join me if you can. I am by no means a high roller and my bets are usually between £0.20 and £1.20 a spin, depending on the bank roll.

Having a bit of a break from online gambling and therefore streaming too.

Going through a terrible patch of losing deposits (at £300 a go) so need to wait for funds to build up again (I shifted all of my previous big wins in saving accounts and don't want to touch that money).

I will be back in a few weeks time.

For those of you that are considering streaming their slot play, be mindful that this can be a rather expensive hobby!

Sorrry to hear that you're running cold mate, wise choice to step away for a while while you recover.

Hope to see you back soon,

Kim

I will be back to streaming again starting on the 17th March,

Having had a little break from it allowed me some time to create this intro that will start each of my streams:

Great intro, which program did you use to create it?

Just to let you all know there will be no more Slotplayer.

I deleted both my Youtube and Twitch accounts and permanently closed all of my casino accounts.

Any affiliate earnings that I get, I will donate to charity going forward.

I wish to thank everybody for previously visiting my streams. It was a pleasure streaming my slot play and I will pop in occasionally into the various streams. My new username on Twich is ExSlotplayer.

Everybody please take care out there.

This is very surprising and out of the blue.

If it's not too sensitive a subject I would be curious to understand your reasons for quitting at some point but obviously understand if you didn't feel like discussing.

All the best,

All the best,

No problem discussing it at all.

As the slogan says "if the fun stops, then stop" and that is exactly what I did.

I will definitely miss the streaming, that is for sure.

What I will not miss, however, is wasting my money playing the slots. I have always played to a budget and have always stuck to it.

However, when you play and you are not getting the play time, game bonuses are severely lacking, then there is no fun seeing the money disappear.

Put it this way, once I realised what the money I spent on gambling could have bought, it suddenly was a wake up call. I am lucky that I have a good paying job, have no mortgage (paid off already) and hardly any bills to have to worry about, so the little vice I had (if you want to call it that) had very little effect on my life.

The feeling of wasting the money would have been even worse, if I discounted the affiliate commission that I earned. It subsidised a decent chunk of the gambling budget.

When I first started on slots, I was almost £5,000 up thanks to some big hits on Dead or Alive. All of that and more has been handed back to the Casino that gave me that win.

If there is one lesson to be learned, is that you really ought to walk away once you are up on slots. I know that it is easier said than done but the reality of the matter is that you beat the casino and if you continue to play there is only one way that it goes.

I hope that I am not putting anybody off playing slots or any other online games. They can be fun, entertaining, get you exciting etc. (I certainly had a lot of it) but you have to be ever so careful with it.

Who knows, I may even be back in the future but for now I will enjoy spending my money on other things and watch my favourite streamers instead.

Cheers mate. I enjoyed the interaction with the viewers and I will miss that most.

May I also thank you for watching my streams. I appreciate that viewers always had a choice of channels to watch and I really did appreciate each and every one of you tuning in!

I was a little hasty deleting my Twitch account so I have asked for it to be recovered so if I do start again I have some kind of a starting point.

Well, I rescued my old Twitch account and the channel is available again.

That is not saying that I will be back to streaming soon. Nothing is going to happen for at least 6 months.

However, for those of you that follow me, you will get notification if and when I do. If and when I do, it will also be at a different Casino because I will never be able to play at Videoslots again because I permanently closed my account there.

In the meantime, I will still watch other streams and participate in chat under the username ExSlotplayer

My Twitch page is pretty clear that I stopped playing.

But that doesn't stop some idiot casinos dropping me whispers, like this one:

Quote

Casino marketing department. We are interested in a review of our casino on your Twitch channel. Please, let me know the terms of that. Our casino operates under an international license and has plenty of players, therefore we are a reliable and long-term partner. Yours sincerely, William http://service.bosscasino.eu/route?i=2758&p=5042

Really pisses you off that does. Not that I would ever play at that casino in any case, but if I was considering selecting a casino it won't be that one. They can see I stopped gambling so why the heck contact me? So much for their responsible gambling policy if they have such a thing.

So William, no can do.

They contacted me as well, by the looks of the link it's just some person advertising Boss casino. Treat it as spam :)

i had william also email me, upon speaking to him , he wouldnt do too much for viewers/signups and didnt get paid my affiliate earnings (which i raffled off to those who deposited anyways after i got it 2 months later) he wouldnt increase my revshare so i stopped all affiliations with the casino. They did change their affiliate team after that. But on the most important thing here is you and what you have decided. We completely understand and support your decision. The streams you had were very viewer friendly, your potty mouth was always a prominent feature (which we loved) and we can only hope that one day you do return even if its on a lower scale than it was. You will be surely missed in this tight community and wish you every success. I whole-heartedly agree with your statement "If the fun stops, stop" its not fun when you rip session after session and to continue could see you at that point spend more than you can afford to recoup those loses. We <3 ya mate and just you frequenting our streams and giving us the support can be enough to enjoy some slots action "Risk Free". For all you brought to the casino section, on behalf of them (us) and the viewers, thank you for all you have done to contribute to this ever growing section and now the war against the viewbots begin

It's nothing new, but there's another streamer broadcasting your videos right now under the name: slotyrplayeram
I've seen this happen over and over again. There's probably nothing you can do about it (except report it like I did), but just wanted you to know about it.

I've included a screenshot, clearly showing the time it is broadcasted.

Yeah it is rather frustrating, so thank you for reporting this. I do the same and in all fairness to Twitch, the channel then disappears pretty quickly. However, the next day they are back with a different channel!!! And on it goes, day after day.

I kind of see it as a compliment!
