Since then he has only deposited with his debit card and has 200 in the account ... Leovegas shut down the account even though there has only been deposits made by his own debit card in the last 6 months. No deposit has been made through PayPal. It was an honest mistake and he realised the PayPal should not be used any more so stopped using it. The winnings have been won using his debit card for deposits so it seems they can do what they want as the terms and conditions were not breached when depositing with his card?? Can they do this?? I feel he has a case to go to the gambling commission... Does anyone agree? Thanks in advance Link to comment

I hope you will get the money, hopefully what happend is that when they checked the withdrawel, then they saw the old paypal deposit. I hope they will return the deposit from the PayPal, and then just let your friend have the money he won. But i fear they would just close the account and at best just return the deposit. I tried once at a casino were i had done some deposit with a Visa card, i later got a new Visa card and also did some deposit with the new Visa card and I won. But when i wanted to withdraw they ask for photos of the old Visa card because i have also used it. Lucky for me i still got some photos of it, because i did not have the card anymore. But i did something almost what you did. I played on a skillonnet site, think it was drueckglueck but not sure. I made by mistake a deposit with my Wifes card. I did not notice before i ask for withdrawel. But they were super cool about it, and just ask my wife to Full out a document where she signed that i was allowed to use her card. I hope they will offer you the same. Even you clearly made a huge mistake when it comes to what never to do on a casino. But still, been there done that, i wish you the best of luck. Link to comment

Couple things: Are you, the owner of the Paypal account, self excluded at LeoVegas? If you are then it will be pretty much impossible to convince Leovegas that you are not playing an account, set up in your brothers name, to get around the responsible gambling tools. You can't go to the gambling commission, you have to go through an independent complaints service first. If you go direct to the gambling commission they will politely tell you to come back once you have made a formal complaint through an independent complaints service and have received an outcome. It is only when the outcome from the complaints service is not in your favour that the gambling commission will do anything, unless it is some massive violation of the licensing obligations.
