christripk Posted 6 July, 2020 Share Posted 6 July, 2020 Hi CG, I created an account at Sportingbet, not knowing that i was self excluded at their sister sites (Partypoker). I passed account registration and verification and was able to deposit £469 (in 3 separate deposits) and wager £318.10 before my account was suspended. I was able to withdraw the outstanding balance of £150.90 but i believe i should be due a refund of the £318.10 as if their processes were effective and efficient i should not have been able to 1. create an account and 2. deposit. I have raised this complaint with the site and they have said that no refund is due because i have a different name on the account for Partypoker and Sportingbet. This might be a variation of my first name (Chris/Christian). All other details are the same. What is the forums thoughts on this? Any help or advise is greatly appreciated. Many thanks Christian Link to comment
Billymitch Posted 6 July, 2020 Share Posted 6 July, 2020 unfortunately chris, it is up too the casino if they would refund or not, some will some wont, but its like putting a bet on in willam hill and it loses and then the staff notice your banned from all shops, they wouldnt refund the losing bet, your lucky you didn't win, you wouldn't have been paid out, also lucky they noticed while you still had a balance.. their was a reason you self excluded maybe think about making this permeant across all sites.. not knowing or not wanting to notice? gambling isn't for everyone dude. stay safe my friend.
