Hello all,

I signed up to revolut and used them to play on Mr Green. Did about 4 deposits between £100 and £300 over 48 hours. Overall just over 1k in the account. I got verified etc then requetsed a withdrawal. They then locked my account and requested a bank statement, screengrab of my mr green account, withdrawal history. I supplied everything. They kept me on chat for 7 hours and then started requesting a full pdf download of my play history!!! Mr green said they couldn't provide that for me and I shouldn't share that stuff.

I have told revolut to send my balance to my bank account and close my account but they are ignoring me!

@LetsGiveItASpinI only used them as you and supersmask talked so well of them on stream. Can you help or anyone? I really need that money during these tough times for me and the kids and shouldnt really of gambled.

Thanks

Mrgreen is forced to provide you with that data i believe.. i had the same thing with revolut and it took more than a month to get sorted.

I needed to provide full play history from leovegas and full neteller history for the transactions to revolut because i cashed out from the DoA2 win to my revolut

Perhaps if you cant get it solved someone from CG team can contact MrGreen on monday to ask why they dont provide you with the history because i think they have to

Thank you!

Tbh I’ve had to provide so many personal things to revolut and also been on chat for 12 hours now I don’t even want to use the account. I just want the money returned and account closed. It’s not a huge balance like urs so it’s all abit absurd and crazy.

I can’t believe a company is like this.

Revolut are GREAT until you have to KYC, the way to do it is just bug the chat all the time and you'll eventually get someone who actually wants to help you to unlock your account. I wouldn't recommend using Revolut for gambling though as their policy is against that, when you gamble e-wallets are better in my opinion (even though Skrill has the worst customer service in the world).

Once again i have to ask why does people waste time using PayPal, Skrill, revolt or what ever it is called? I have seen many post in this forum from people having trouble getting their money, some casinos does not offer bonus using these payment providers. First you have to withdraw to f.ex. PayPal and then transfer from PayPal to you bank account. I always use my Visa card that i use for everything else, instant deposit usually no fee for deposit/withdrawel most sites payout with 1 day some even in a few hours.

Neteller is hands down the best thing for me, ive gotten close to 4000 dollars from them in the years of high usage from the bonus points system (of course from streams and offstream gamble) plus you just get a Net+ mastercard so you dont have to take the money out anywhere you can just pay by card or withdraw on ATM.

For Norwegian players at least, an E-wallet is almost required as you cant withdraw to VISA-card in most norwegian banks. So we just have to deal with it

I was on chat for over 14 hours with them and got no where, each time I sent something (far beyond what I’ve ever sent to casino) they asked for something else more obscure. I told them to return my balance and close my account as will never use them again. They have ignored that and blocked me from twitter.

My only option is financial ombudsman I guess? Issue is I needed the money for food and rent and shouldn’t of been gambling in first place. Now I’m screwed. Have self excluded now.

Here in the UK you can be denied a mortgage if you have gambling transactions coming from bank accounts/debit cards, even more so if your credit report has any indication of borrowing money to gamble.

Small private businesses which have credit facilities with banks wouldn't want there to be any indication of using personal or business funds/credit for gambling as it might affect the facility/arrangement.

The e-wallets are a way to mask what you are spending your money on(to a degree)

Just saw this post today.. sorry to hear you are having issues with revolut @I_only_post_wins Its kinda weird they are requesting gaming history from Mr. Green which has absolutely nothing to do with anything. I can't really say much more, since Ive never had these issues with Revolut. The only issues Ive had has been depositing with 3d secure from Android devices, but thats a different topic.

Thanks SuperSmask. Big fan BW....It’s going still very bad. They asked for 6 months bank statements to prove where the €600 euro came from and then starting asking for my partners!!! Completely irrelevant and against GDPR. I’ve had to get Ombudsman and courts involved now. They’ve blocked me on twitter and so has their CEO.

Update for all who use revolut @LetsGiveItASpin @SuperSmask @Slotspinner

my account has been deactivated and the remaining balance sent back to the casinos. Revolut have blocked me from everything and refusing to engage on chat..Mr green have said they wouldNt accept the payments being reverted to them and have never heard of such a thing.

So currently Revolut have stolen my money and now court and ombudsman is the only option.

A quick check online shows thousands upon thousands of ppl go through this.

I really advise all players to stay away from revolut and do your homework.

Then you are ignoring my post and the multiple groups who are taking revolut to court and seeking compensation. You will eventually fall fowl as over 50 thousand ppl and counting have. Revolut have multiple CCJs against them in the UK and over 300 financial ombudsman cases against them. Interestingly they have not made a profit any year as a company.

I hope u don’t find yourself in the position I have.

Well this just doesnt sound very right, as they asked me for exactly the same thing that you were asked to provide - and i provided it, so my account is fully verified nothing is blocked and revolut continues to work as it should for me

I have joined this lawsuit.

Simply google revolut locked accounts and you will see some awful stories and extremely shady/criminal activity from revolut. Also look at their twitter if you are not blocked.

Seems so far from the image I have of Revolut. Well I have only seen the bright side of it, but now I read about the ugly side of it.

They were not even asking for SOW right? @I_only_post_wins just screenshots of where the money was from and ID? I mean its €600, not €6000..

I had no idea about revolut but now my girlfriend has had the same happen to her account (non gambling).

They just asked for screen grabs, no official SOW. But as u say it’s €600. @LetsGiveItASpinsaid gambling transactions were against their Ts and Cs but I couldn’t see this.

Hmm I know for a certain that its not allowed with a business account, to have any earnings of any sort, related from gambling. This is the only thing I could find on Gambling in a "normal" account.

19.1. It is not permitted to: A. use the Revolut Services for any illegal purposes, including, but not limited to fraud and money laundering, unlawful sexually oriented materials or services, counterfeit products, unlawful gambling activities, fraud, money laundering, the funding of terrorist organizations, the unlawful purchase or sale of tobacco, firearms, prescription drugs, other controlled substances or other products prohibited by law. Revolut will report any suspicious activity and cooperate with any relevant law enforcement agency or regulator;

Im guessing Unlawful would be fx. A US citizen trying to deposit on an online casino like fx. Leo (this is just an example). Since gambling is not permitted in the US, I guess that would be unlawful? So I don't really see it being an issue with gambling with a revolut card.

I can tell you fyi, that after my last 2 withdrawals I have now been asked to do KYC with Revolut as well. Since I cant really use it anymore, I will not bother with KYC as I have no use for the Currency feature.
