Streamers moving to Malta and play at shady casinos?

Recommended Posts

I noticed that in the past year some streamers I watch moved to Malta and they play at the same online casinos. I also noticed that from the moment they moved they raised their stakes a lot and started winning a lot more often (in X times the bet ofcourse). So I see a connection between the casinos they play at, the stakes they play at and how often they win from a deposit.

I stopped watching all of those streamers because there just has to be something shady going on here.

Does anyone else see the same pattern? I am not calling any names, I hope you just know them too ;)

The reason streamers are moving away from their home countries is because the respective Governments have been interfering with gambling. Things such as lack of bonuses in Sweden is such an example.

A streamer needs bonuses to sustain the amount of gambling / streaming they do. Without them it gets pretty expensive.

And of course, the more you gamble the bigger the chance of big wins because they will eventually come in as long as you play enough.

Casinos have no control over the outcome of the slots. All they effectively do is host the games on their platform and keep their fingers crossed that players continue to lose.

So the only pattern that I see is streamers moving to Malta. Most of the Swedish ones have and I can foresee UK ones too in the future if the UKGC continues to give casinos a hard time and they either give up on the UK market, reduce the RTP or stop giving bonuses altogether. UK streamers may also move to Malta if the £2 max spin ever comes into effect online.

the £2 won't come 100% look how much bet365 paid in tax alone.

Just to clear something up, the streamers I mean are not on here.

They are completely different and also act different while streaming than the streamers I'm talking about, a different attitude.

Also 2 of the streamers I'm talking about grew super fast on twitch and it feels like they joined the party with the "top" streamer on twitch.
