RIZK banned me for winning?

Think you are a loyal player? Well, think again – you might be wrong.

I want to share this story as it came as a shock to me. It’s a long, but interesting story, if you spend some time reading.

But first some facts about my customer relationship with RIZK:

  • Joined December 2016
  • Deposited over 500 times
  • My level is 1606 (if you play at rizk, you know it takes to reach this level)

So, being a regular player for over 3 years, playing almost on daily basis, I’d consider myself as a loyalty player.

A few weeks ago I got this e-mail from rizk:

Rizk-mail01.thumb.jpg.039be812408311931d779abab5f24b4f.jpg

The terms they refers to (https://rizk.com/en/terms-and-conditions):

13.4 The Company may refuse to open an account or may opt to close a players’ account which has already been opened at its own discretion. Notwithstanding this all contractual obligations already undertaken or entered into will be honoured subject to these Terms.

I was in shock, and was thinking this must be some kind of mistake, and I didn’t really understand if and which terms I might have broken, so I replied asking for an explanation, and if I’ve done something wrong, I’d like to know about it.

The only reply I got:

Rizk-mail02.thumb.jpg.ec9251c4eb5e8945aa3222e30e246861.jpg

What now?

I was shocked, disappointed and confused.

I reached out to CG who promotes RIZK, to see if I could get some help. I wanted answers. After a few days my account was re-opened and even though the reason was not 100% clear, it seems to be connected to my activity at the rizk races. The suggestion was to stay away from the race.

It is no secret that I really enjoy playing those rizk races. This is one of the reasons why rizk has been one of my preferred casinos. It gives me extra enjoyment and excitements while playing slots. I’ve been playing those races since the start. I was playing regular on rizk also before rizk race was available. Everyone who plays those races, either on rizk, casumo and videoslots etc, knows that winning a race is not easy, and most time you loose balance just to participate.

So when my account was accessible again, I checked in the terms but there are no info about the races there. However, there is a set of rules under the information page for race, which one of them says:

Players whose betting patterns are deemed to be only playing for Rizk Race Prize pools will be restricted from participating in Rizk Races with immediate effect and their patterns of play reviewed on regular basis. If a player is deemed to have gained an advantage by manipulating the outcome of a Rizk Race, Rizk Casino may elect to: (i) close the customer’s account(s); (ii) invalidate the transactions or game play which was in contravention of this term; and/or (iii) withhold the customer’s winnings from such transactions or game play.

Surely, I have done nothing to gain any advantage. Perhaps I have the last weeks/month played more race slots than others, I’m not sure because collecting those data for me is too much hassle, and I really don’t bother. My play patters depend on how I’m running on the slots. When I’m running cold on the slots, the races might help me to boost by balance if I was able to get some prizes (which is not easy and based on pure luck).

I don’t know how rizk has been looking into my play pattern, as they obviously don’t want to communicate with me.

When I could login to check my account again, here is my 6 months stats fetched from my account page at rizk. Unfortunately, I can’t choose any other period:

Total win/loose playhistory: €7500 down

Total transaction deposit/withdrawal: 1700€ down

So, I have won races and gained profit from other promotions, like: freespins in rizk wheel, winnings from Yggdrasil promotions (cashdrops, mission etc) a “profit” of €5800.

  • Still, I’m down in total of €1700. Even with my winnings from the races!
  • Yes – I’d be more down if I didn’t win something from the races.
  • NO – I wouldn’t be able to deposit as much if not for those race prices.
  • YES – my winnings from races, if I withdraw, most likely gets re-deposited later.

Anyway, they have decided they don’t want me as a plyer anymore and banned me.

What hurts me the most, based on my loyalty, they never contacted me with any warning. Maybe an e-mail with “hey, your play pattern is warning us, you need to change or else we need to ban you..”

I wonder, why didn’t they exclude me from the races? Why straight to ban?

  • How many percent of my spins has to be on other slots than race slots, in order not to be considered as abuse?
  • There are no clear rules here. So, maybe a heads up would be nice if I broke some “undefined rules”?
  • If not me – someone else will win those prices anyway. Does it really matter who wins them?
  • Those prices will be handed out to someone anyway, how can it be bad if some regular player wins them?

Anyway, big thanks to CG for getting me the answer rizk support didn’t have the balls to tell me. My account is available again (excluded from the races though). However, my time on rizk has come to and end. I don’t want to play where I’m not welcome.

I also notice that all the prices on the races had been lowered dramatically. I wonder if RIZK struggles, and even heading toward bankrupt, considering they banned me for “taking too much of their money”… Honestly I have to say i wouldn’t feel sorry for them if they do – considering how they threat their players.

So, my conclusion is:

  • Banned for winning (but still loosing).
  • Banned for playing
  • Banned for participating on their promotions.

Have anyone else been banned from RIZK? What are your thoughts on this?

Interesting, even though they added "automatic play" to participate every single race for you 😥

Though i'm not playing in Rizk more often because obvious reason,

No bonuses, i'm not even getting anything out of 2x booster (which they keep giving me constantly for free) which also makes the level system useless, even if you did hit a gold mark, you still get low-paid amounts.

Only time when i play in Rizk is during high valued races depending on bet size and game, the other races are worth joining if you plan playing the slot

Yeah, that is something i forgot to point out, a reload bonus is something you might get once a year... all my deposits used in the races are raw cash, so it’s not like i’ve taken advantage in that way.

I have said it before, i will say it again.
Rizk Loyalty system is utter crap and useless.
I made 3m NOK (€300000) in deposits last year and wouldn’t even get a withdrawal pushed, let alone any vip treatment or a feeling of being taken cared of.

i have made 50% of that amount in deposits on Wildz and they give me everything without me even asking for a handout. VIP/deposit bonuses/Cashback/wagerfree high bet spins/24/7 manager/instant withdrawals no fees whatsoever.

i self excluded myself from Rizk and have never looked back. No Wonder they sold to Betsson.

@olempiaps yeah i was just aware that Betsson has bought GiG.

Also it seems IKIBU casino has closed down, which is a part of GiG (which RIZK is also a part of).

The stocks has dropped insanely the last 2 years, and is now record low.

I wonder if Rizk and some of the other casinos will go bankrupt aswell... I'd be aware to deposit...

I see that the MGA license is under MT Securetrade Limited, anyone know how this is connected to GIG? I see other casinos outside GIG is under the same MGA license. How does this work, anyone know?

@pausefisk thanks for sharing. You put a lot of effort in you post :) Rizk is a good casino in general in my opinion but I am not playing there myself as well because they needed ages to reply on my sent in documents after I moved. They declined it twice because they wanted a gas or electricity bill (I only sent in my internet-bill because gas or electricity is not registered on my name) - was not enought for them. In the same time of like 2 weeks I ripped of my whole 800€ on this account which I wanted to withdraw before. Account is still not verified and now I dont care anymore :D

Thanks for sharing, I’ll stay away from Rizk aswell from now on, was one of my favorite casinos until now but they have to feel consequences for doing stuff like they did to you.

I have one question @pausefisk: Out of all the levels you made, all the wheels of rizk you spon, did you ever hit a jackpot? :D

Yes, hit jackpot once. Won €2000, which is the max amount, and the amount is based on your level. I think you have to be over 200 to get €2000, but not sure. mabye this has been change aswell, mabye the jackpot is just fake :) I guess the wheel is not licensed or regulated in any way :) After so many spins i should have won jackpot more often :)

I havent used many wheel spins but almost always got the 5 spins (once turbo and once cashback which I didn't use). Based on the fact that this is the only thing you get for loyalty I think I am going to quit playing on Rizk too. Played once on Wildz, I'm going to give that casino another shot.

Is zercure limited a casino brand we can trust??

Strange they closed your account and not just promo/bonus ban you. They won't except my proof of savings and investments as SOW so i'm restricted to a deposit limit of £100 per month which stopped me from playing any promos for months.

You will never get a straight answer to why only a random T&C point which is really frustrating but you just need to move on :(

It seems Zecure Gaming Limited is a subsidary of the GIG. I think it's just a formality. Its been operating under GIG for a long time already. Strange enough, i have not recieved this e-mail... Mabye this is only for customers in sweden?

gig went from 21 sek to 2 sek in 1 year. Stockmarket is a crazy please. Anyway its bought now by Betsson. Goin bankrupt aint an option for this bidness.  In case of goin, sites like Rizk, etc will got problems. If Ikibu closed maybe they will try to absorb small to non profitable sites and create one big one. It really works for them this way.
