TopSymbolKate Posted 13 January, 2020 Share Posted 13 January, 2020 Hi all, I wanted to write an update note after winning the BTG Tesla competition and tell the tale.... I keep some money aside for slots each month and I had a bit of crappy run and only had $10 left in it. I thought why not, I'll deposit in my local casino online and give it a go on a BTG slot as where else can you win big on .20 cents a spin? With $4.51 left I hit the spin button and the game kindof froze up and freaked out, the reels kept spinning and nothing happened. I thought oh it's froze and closed it and was almost going to just call it a night when I decided to open it back up and low and behold the Mega Big Win music started and I looked at the balance and had won almost $4000 on that spin. WTF? I immediately withdrew and put the win up on CasinoGrounds and thought lucky days. It wasn't until @LetsGiveItASpin mentioned the Tesla competition that I thought this could get interesting. I sweated it out waiting to see if I was August's ticket winner and was delighted when I was. From September to December felt like a very loooong time. As Lil Devil was released and people started winning over my 20,000X win I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't have been put into the competition if they had released that game earlier. More lucky days.... Then disaster struck, my local casino is government run here in Canada and they said 'we have no idea what you are talking about and we are not part of this competition' on chat. I pretty much told them you better bloody do this as I've been a loyal patron and if you don't I'll....well I stopped short of threatening them because yeah I don't want to be charged. But I was worried the dream was over. Here comes Nick from BTG to save the day, after my insistence to the casino actually worked he was a proper gent and said no problem we'll allow the win and go from there. Dec 19th comes along and I'm waiting in line at the grocery store to pay and I casually look at my phone and I have a notification from a CG member saying ' you won the Tesla'. I went home and watched the video of Nick pulling my name from the hat and I think I went into a state of shock that has only now started to dissipate. I've made a donation to the Australian Fire Fighters and Animal organizations as my way to pay it forward and pay respects to BTG's home office. When you have nothing to lose. Then all the luck of the Universe is above you not only when you are playing slots but in every move you make in your daily life. Thats how it is. Back in 2016 i've had a similar story, maybe i 'll tell someday. "The biggest win" is that you donated for the Fire Fighters in Australia and i m pretty sure you will have more big wins in the future cause everything good you've done, comes back to you. P.S. Queen of Riches is one of my fav games after DoA and i wished you win the Tesla Competition. When i saw the BTG video i was pleased you won it! Link to comment
