HOSTING

It seems to me the most successful streamers seem to host each other and dont seem to host the little guys who may want to grow their streams ....it seems to me there is a little groups who stick together and only host each other ....i would like to see the high achieving streamers do more to look at the lesser known streamers and give them a host to boost them ....inwould like to know what others think of this

Hosting someone in this category is questionable too. So many Vultures only in for affiliation since start, viewbots, chatbots, fakemoney, liars, deceivers etc etc.

If you host someone in this section youre basically giving him money and trust your viewers that this specific host is legit and fair, which sadly is barely possible anymore.

The whole community has been intoxicated to max by these money whores which i wont name..

Are you saying that the new and upcoming CG streamers is in this category? Isnt @chrisfleming9 asking the big streamers to help out the new CG streamers?

i dont think thats what he meant he spoke about small streamers in generel. Personally i dont host most people for various reasons.. i think if i hadnt been a part of this community for so long i wouldnt care as much, but damn the whole section went to shit long time ago for the most part.

Really sucks. back in late 2015 there was pretty much only real honest people giving it a gamble. Sad!!

no one says you have to ...but i thought CG was an area that up and coming streamers can get help ..and CG does do that i have seen it ...but when it comes to hosting others they seem to stick to their own group rather than helping others ..who by getting a host from a big streamer could get a boost

@Slotspinner i was referring to this quote: " ...but i thought CG was an area that up and coming streamers can get help".

I just assumed he meant streamers who is officially listed as a CG-streamer.

i do agree @Slotspinner its too commercialised ...i started watching slot streams 3 years ago watching rocknrolla then labowsky and so on ...for new streamers starting out unless people like you and kim etc help these guys they disappear ....i campaigned last year to get slot streamers recognised in the twitch and yt awards got told fuck off....so buding a slot community so big they have to start would be a good thing hence why for me IMO we need to start helping new REAL MONEY streamers get a footing

i believe the fight is LONG lost. casino streams are mostly commercial affiliation, the real scene died somewhere in 2016/2017.. there is nothing one can do about it anymore imo, thats the sad part about it. And im saying that even when im fulltime streaming/affiliating for 3 years now because its truth andthats what ive always stood for.

Nonetheless us real people can try to make it fun and nice for the viewers :) snd i think loads of people still enjoy the whole thing

Most of the slot/casino section on Twitch is just fucked up.

You got people stealing streams and streaming them under their own account. Most of the top viewer channels are top because you have bots pushing the viewer numbers up. Every man and his dog is trying to get a slice of the financial reward pie and it sometimes shows when the person doing the stream hasn't got a clue about playing slots.

Add to that the fake money streamers and the what I call cock waving competition of who can do the biggest bets and what chance do channels such as I have?

Wind back the clock a few years and I was only one of very few people streaming slots at 0830 UK time. At times I was the only one! Look at it now.....

It's bad for business thats the whole point, nobody really cares about anything else here no matter what they say. Streaming > animate people to gamble> Affiliate Revenue > $$$. Fake or Real its all about the money money money. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETxmCCsMoD0&feature=youtu.be#t=56s

the ones who say otherwise are the ones ya gotta watch out for ?

As for the hosting i see it exactly how it is. A host could be enough to change a small streamer into a big one really fast

Giving them a huge advantage so I think its right to be careful for the good of both streamers, the viewers and potential players.

Same as promoting a brand if you don't do your homework first then it could ruin your reputation

It's an interesting proposition, I certainly agree that a host from a big streamer would massively inflate the channels but that isn't what everyone would want. As a new streamer I was hosting my first stream when someone came on and was having problems with their current casino and wanted a referral to the casino I was playing on. At the time I didn't have any affiliation with the casinos so I contacted 3 of my favourite of which one turned me down for not being big enough yet and the other two set me up and have both been really supportive.

Now as I've mentioned in my "new streamer" post, I am someone who is likely to be playing the slots regularly anyway but I like to do this while chatting to someone as it keeps me level and because of that I enjoy it a lot more. I'm not looking to earn loads of money from streaming but I do look at it as a way of taking the edge off the losses. I don't want to be the next big streamer, I want to have a tight community who I can get to know and chat to. As someone who has previously been central in online gaming (non-gambling games) it is always important to me to have that community aspect in what you do.

Now because of all of this, I would happily host other small streamers and be hosted by them, but I don't particularly want 20k+ dropped in my stream, it would ruin what I'm aiming at going for.
