Hi all,

the guys from SG Interactive (WMS/Bally/Barcest) have agreed to answer any of the questions our community/players have.
Be it from "When will the autospin get back on Rhino" to "Will you release this and this slot?"

Post any questions you might have for them in the forum where they'll reply.

In following days we will pick the best questions and post them on the main page!

This really is an unique opportunity as SG Interactive is one of the biggest online slot providers out there and has a huge fan base.

1.) General question

Why don't you provide information on the odds of specific events occurring i.e. odds of triggering free spins on rhino?

2.) Legend of the Pharaohs

What are the odds of triggering the bonus on Legend of the Pharaohs using the £20 big bet?

3.) Rainbow riches - reels of gold

On the game rainbow riches reels of gold - are the pie gambles a.) Random and b.) Do the pies represent the actual odds of the outcome i.e. 50% red / 50% green pie = 1 in 2 chance of winning?

4.) Monopoly big event

Are the picks in the monopoly big event bonus game pre determined?

5.) General question

What are your top 5 most popular games based on number of spins processed?

Cheers

Great initiative @Skylined87 and good questions @NudgeShuffle

I have a few as well.

1) How popular are big bets in lets say Monopoly Big event compared to regular spins? I'm obviously biased as I only play big bets and I know the RTP of those are 99% compared to 96% on regular spins.

2) Will you move more popular land based slot games online? There are quite a few that look fun when I go to the land based casinos but knowing the the difference in payout I tend to stay away :D

3) Most importantly, do you know Tom Woods? :D

Let me contribute some questions as well:

1. Will you release any of the older titles - i.e. Laredo, Great Eagle Returns, Jungle Wild 3 (basically G+ Deluxe series)?

2. What criteria do you use when deciding which slot will be released online?

3. There's lot's of converted slots already on Play4fun network. Why aren't they all available for real money play?

4. How long does it take to "convert" the landbased slot into online one?

5. Can you add the "quickspinning" back on the HTML5 versions of slots? On most it just takes forever to count up the wins.

6. Autoplay - coming back for HTML5 versions and when, if so?

One I can't answer i'm afraid. Let's just say the Leprechaun sits at the top of the Rainbow.

I can give you the top 3:

Raging Rhino, Rainbow Riches and 88 fortunes

How do I know? See here: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/online-casinos/73168-trip-malta-opportunities-ask-questions-off-scientific-games-videoslots.html

Hello @SG Interactive  can you tell me who alters your slots for the fixed betting terminals and arcades in the UK? For example Raging Rhino has 5x max multiplier and a "Rhino Rampage" when online slot version and I believe land based elsewhere hasn't got this. I have 2 screenshots to show what I mean but for some reason the site is turning them upside down

I'll be blunt with my question, as it needs asking...

Why unlike all other software providers have you removed auto-spin for the majority of countries? Your director stated publicly earlier in the year 'responsible gambling' was the core reason.

In my opinion, something that is clearly visible on YouTube videos and live Twitch streams, players are now pressing spin/stop continuously which is actually making them gamble irresponsibly. If you had auto-play, players would make 2-3 LESS spins each time.

I heard it has something to do with the regulations set by the UK Gambling Commission... I know, it's silly.

We want to make sure our auto spin facility is fully compliant with UKGC regulations. It remains turned off of our games until we are 100%. Happy with the the functionality. It will be reappearing on games later this year.

With due respect, I was told this last year.

If Netent, PlayNGo et al can do it, so can you - if you put your mind to it that it.

Very poor in my opinion.

They are done internally but the retail team based in the UK. Because Rhino is so volatile, they needed to make some changes to bring it down a bit so added some extra features to the game.

The UK market loves volatile games - so quite why you thought this and changed it I have no idea - makes no sense...

Sorry, but this answer is rubbish - you have it on some of your newer games, and every other manufacturer has had a compliant autoplay since the regs came in to force, so there should have been no reason not to implement it.

its still volatile. but with UK retail you have to work with a £500 cap. so the game needs to be changed to incorporate that.

Agreed - but then to do this you introduced an X5 and a feature which adds more Rhinos?! So you need to pay less, but in doing so, "increased" the pays. Interesting... i'm sure you probably can't say, but my guess is the retail version hasn't done anywhere near as well as the online one ;)

we don't have auto play on any of our games at the moment. IGT don't have auto play on their games at the moment. Playtech have an auto spin function, but don't have the loss limits.

Apologies - i thought i had seen an autoplay on some of your newer games (i.e not machine ports)... And i don't think we can use Playtech as a bastion of virtue can we? IGT - yeah, that's also really poor! For "big" manufacturers, SG and IGT have been so slow in adding Autoplay... i know there are a lot of games to update, but if the vast majority of all other providers can do it, saying "you want to get it right" is probably not true. You (like me) know exactly how to do it correctly, as NetEnt, Inspired, BluePrint, QuickSpin, etc.. have all had it right for over 12 months...

I don't get the retail figures I'm afraid. the amount of time it stays in the featured page in Lads and coral will give an indication of how it is doing.

I understand what you mean. but player trends/behavior also plays a part. if you have played Rhino online, you will know you can long periods of time without a feature of anything happening also players are typically playing 80p/£1.20 a spin. This just wouldn't work in retail. players play shorter sessions at higher stakes, thus hit rates and near misses need to be adjusted.

I agree that there is a difference between retail and online - but IMHO, retail ruined Montezuma and Rhino... They certainly didn't need to change the game as much as they did. That said, i'm sure they had their reasons... but having made games for online and retail UK for a long time, i think they got this one wrong. I'm actually glad i don't do B2/B3 games any more - i think the bookies are squeezing that market to death, with more and more volatile games that are just zero fun to play. They will end up with a very small, albeit dedicated, player base... If you were a new player, and player a B3 game, you'd never play slots again. They are mostly abhorrent.

BTW - also want to add a thanks for taking the time to answer queries :)

Don't know what you mean about playtech ;) I'm still scarred from their ICE party in Feb.

When I say 'get it right' I mean fully complaint in all markets we are in.

The advantage that Netent, Inspired, Blueprint, Quickspin have is that they have modern platforms which allow changes to be made quickly and easier than us.

And that's exactly the same at IGT ;)

And yeah, the PlayTech parties are something else.... Fire & Ice ;)

Same as Netent with their ports on retail. Gonzo plays totally different online to in shop.

Not triedl Second Strike by quickspin in shop yet. might need a visit to a shop later!

BetDigital did the NetEnt conversions, although NetEnt did the maths - Twin Spin was NEVER going to work with a 500 cap! Stupid idea!

Second Strike is perfect for the bookies - probably without any maths changes (other than the top prize being 500x instead of 1000x) - Mats did a good job on that game! :)
